Noise under the car

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a deep, heavy noise coming from underneath my car.

The tie rods have been replaced, but that wasn’t the issue (I was certain it wasn’t).

It seems more related to the suspension. It happens mainly at low speeds, particularly when going over speed bumps, often even more when descending them. It sounds like a “clunk, clunk.”
Cant’ really tell if it’s front, middle or rear…

I can also feel it slightly in the steering wheel and pedals.

Soon, I’ll be replacing the tires and springs (Eibach), but I’d like to identify the issue beforehand so no one blames the new springs for the noise, and I can still benefit from the warranty.

Occasionally, the noise also occurs at speeds under 40 km/h in corners when the weight shifts from one side to the other.

I suspect the shock absorbers or those large longitudinal crossbars.

Does someone have or had the same issue?
My Grena is 32000km, and it happened at 7/8000.

Thank you very much

No noises like that in mine.

Suspect one of the following:
  • Exhaust, try to move it by hand and see if it hits something
  • Springs, they may chafe to end fixings, hard to test, possibly traces of chafing.
  • Dampers some time cause noises but this is somewhat unlikely.

Thank you! It’s seems very «mecanical ». 2nde option, springs, speak a lot to me. As if they were floating/moving on there base…

Hard to hear but at 4 seconds there is a double sound , it’s this sound. Listen, like a heart bit…
