May have seen an additional speaker on dash in one of the videos!

The Misses won't be happy unless the sound system has a sub!  She wouldn't be able to get her fix of doof doof music!   Maybe the first aftermarket change....

I don't know, sounds like your onto a winner there! ?

whats the pathfinder system mentioned in the brochure ? any ideas

Supposedly, the ‘pathfinder off-road navigation system’ allows you to ‘programme, follow and record’ a route via waypoints, even where there are ‘no road signs or tyre tracks in sight’.  I guess it's a proprietary Ineos offline map app for both Android and iOS devices that integrates seamlessly with other leading on- and off-line leading navigation apps. If however, it's anything like the current pre-18/5 configurator, it may just be hot air! ?

Pathfinder perhaps guides you to the next Ineos service, petrol station, hospital, whatsoever. Can be anything.

I recall hearing about this in one of the videos.  A way to share waypoints and presumably "bread crumb trail" routes to other Grenadiers?  I wonder how they'll be sharing this data - obviously some wireless link - and how they'll handle the sharing/privacy features.

Sounds cool though!

Has anyone seen screens of the infotainment system? By now there should be more than this one which I photographed at the event in April.

Perhaps most importantly of all, the Grenadier offers a unique off-road navigation system. On normal roads, you’ll be able to rely on always-up-to-date smartphone navigation, thanks to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration with the Grenadier’s infotainment system and 12.3-inch touchscreen. But when you leave the road, the Grenadier’s Pathfinder navigation system will allow you to record, share or follow your route via waypoints.

So, for example, you’ll be able to build an off-road route online, using GPS coordinates (as opposed to map data), save these to a USB stick, then plug it into your Grenadier, which will then guide you. Or you’ll be able to mark waypoints on your way – and the Grenadier will show you the way back.

Cool concept.

It is. But I'd be curious what happens if I set a waypoint at the edge of the Grand Canyon and the next one on opposite edge on the other side. ;-)

The manufacturer of the DAB+ radio system is Neusoft, according to a reply - IG Ticket: 64195.

Anyone know of any other European / US car brand using Neusoft ? They seem to be as reputable as any Chinese tech company could be. Hoping no extra (back)door gets added ;)
