I wonder what the impeller is supposed to be good for? At least I don't understand the advantage over a cyclone design.

It throws debris out so the cleaner doesn't need to be emptied like the clear bowl ones

If I got this video right, the 'impeller' is not a moving part, but a kind of an air baffle.

So I assume that this is a finally a variation of a cyclone design. But that's just my understanding.

No I think it is a moving part because ti mentions bearings in the spec

I had translated 'impeller' with 'ventilator' and concentrated on the thing on the lower part, which is indeed something fixed - hence I overlooked the rotating rake in the top part.

I find a cyclone without moving parts to be a convincing concept. Though they either have good reasons for their own concept or just want to be different: Ball-bearings in an environment whose raison d'être is mainly to be dusty doesn't really convince me.

But perhaps I am missing something.

This chap makes a point at the end with regards to it being bad to oversize a pre-cleaner.
