God damn.. adas clicks I can deal with.. what about the power steering whine?!

HVAC that produces no heat, or if there is heat, it’s accompanied by a whistle..

Those other issues, there are no workarounds..

I'm not to well read up on these issues here on the forum but I did run into them on mine and resolved them. I didn't have the power steering whine till about 400 miles. I ran around town parked and checked the fill line it was just below min, topped it too max mark. Couple weeks later I noticed it was about below mid between the two and took it back to max and all noise is gone. No leaks just thinking the lines or system wasn't bleed correctly at factory. Now if I was smart I would have hooked up Autel and told the pump to purge and do a run in test while pouring fluid in but I did it the hard way.

Not sure if my HVAC is same issues you are talking about but I run mine in Auto now. When I first took it to auto I had the setting a little too warm ( I didn't realize you can read the temp as you turn the dial on the screen). During that time I would press from Auto on/off freaking out thinking my AC stopped working. Once at home I set temp to middle I think it was 70F. The next day I took off and realized it was all working fine and it was user issue not knowing what temp I set it too. But my heat and cool work just fine in manual mode as well. On highest setting I do notice a velocity sequel from the HVAC fan. That is just like my old square body so I might put isolation around it if I can get too it.

I think adas is only one of those shallow issues that reviewers or test drivers can appreciate easily, thus all spot light is on it. It’s as shallow as the overwhelming emphasis on the useless toot horn

Anyone who owns the vehicle experiences other issues that easily overpower the Adas issue, in terms of intrusiveness and much more criticality, due to lack of workaround.

I seriously don’t give a f about Adas issue anymore.. other issues, yes solve them please Lynn - hvac cluster f. Inability to reset oil change reminder,

I enjoyed the interview on both sides but figured Lynn's knowledge of the vehicle was less than the collective on this forum. Did she say 37 ECU's? Should it not be in the 40's? How about the manual diff locks which are in fact electronically powered.
Only tiny details but never the less,,,,,

Did she say 37 ECU's? Should it not be in the 40's?
For what it's worth I was told by one of the project leads the number was on the lower side of 20 (for a MY23)

I was recounting an article comparing the Grenadier to the new Defender which was coming in around the 100 mark for ECU's. Thought the Grenadier was around 45 but happy to stand corrected. Ultimately, Lynn's premise was correct. The Grenadier is 'back to basics', in a good way.

I interpreted the diff lock reference as a comparison to brake vectoring traction control which so many of Ineos' competitors rely on. I don't think it was in reference to how the diff locks are actuated.
