I've ordered the Grenx Rear Parcel Shelf 3 weeks ago and it's listed as "ready to ship" since then. No response to multiple phone and email queries. Has anyone had a recent similar experience?

Not really an SOS issue, but I saw his Grenadier on the road a few weeks ago near where I work so he is still around (SOS is more for events posing a risk to your life & liberty not your hip pocket).

Yes Nick I Just took the last 5 days off work as I had a very sick family member. But I'm up late at night catching up with my emails.
Your items was shipped with Aramex back on the 24th on its long journey across the country to Perth. And I looked after you with the shipping costs to Perth which costs us $135 to ship these bulky item but we only charged $45.

I’ve been getting my stuff perfectly and Rohan at GrenX usually replies within a couple of hours most times. Unusual. I sent him a text message a couple of days ago and he replied near instantly.

Well I ordered on Feb 18 and the order was just "updated" after I put out a post here a few days ago. It's now changed from "ready to ship" to "waiting for details". I'm glad you all appear to have had positive experiences but I wasn't getting a response to queries until I put a public post up here. I suspect the item wasn't in stock and they're bullshitting/fobbing me off while it's being constructed. I'd have been happy just to have gotten an honest response and a firm delivery date.

All good Nick sorry I didn't get back to your email on Saturday night I had a few things going on this week but I just checked tracking it arrived in Perth Yesterday

Hi Rohan,

The shelf finally arrived a couple of weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. Thank you also for reducing the shipping cost. The couriers you used were pretty slow however and their 'updates' weren't great. I eventually had to let them know that the shelf had sat in their Perth depot for 4 days before someone actioned it to be released. I was a bit annoyed as I had delayed a re-organisation of my Grenadier until the shelf arrived and stuff was building up and getting chucked everywhere. I'd have been happy to pay a little bit extra for reliable couriers.

The shelf arrived without fitting instructions and, while I know it's not rocket science, I did have to look at a rival's video (Kaon) to get an impression about the procedure. Kaon use foam 'washers' between the side panels and the car roof. There weren't any supplied for the GrenX shelf (and they don't exist in Bunnings) so I ploughed ahead without them. I put the side panels in first but then had to loosen them as the shelf bolt holes didn't line up with the ones in the side panels. Once I had bolted the shelf to the side panels, I retightened the roof bolts and it's all nice and secure now.

Good solid product. Thanks,

Nick

Nick, glad to see your situation resolved. GrenX does appear to have some great products, but they way he responded to me, describing me as a scammer, when I tried to help promote their products, I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Hopefully, a one off in my case.

@Trialmaster, you added our products to your personal website without informing me. I had no prior knowledge of who you were, nor had I ever interacted with you. If you understood the extent of scams that frequently appear on Grenadier pages, you would take the issue more seriously, especially if someone is impersonating your products. I have to remove scam posts from our pages every 3-4 days to ensure the community remains safe. I had no idea who you were! All you had to do was send me a message or an email explaining your intention to feature our products on your website. Since you’ve never made a purchase from me, I had no reason to know who you were. The template used on your website is a extremely old generic design that is often used by Bots or Parked Domains which makes it highly suspect.

Thanks Nick Glad your happy, we are a new venture only 10 months old and moving myself from Health Care to Grenadier Products has been quite an undertaking. We are low volume bespoke and custom. This started as a 100% community driven project and I owe everything to the early adopters who support my endeavours. The company has since grown as an extremely rapid rate in very short period and I am working my ass off to improve every small fine aspect to venture and it can be overwhelming at times. We are actually looking now to open 3 locations Melb, Brisbane, Perth. The courier options in Australia are terrible to say the least they often don't send the drivers to collect the packages for up to 5 days is not uncommon. I have since found alternative carriers which I will be transitioning over in May 2025 to make the whole system operate more efficiently. My resolve is unwavering for my fellow Grenadier owners and you will see over the next 6 months continuous improvement. We have so many exciting new products, new innovative designs & epic new builds to showcase as well as a YouTube channel which which cover all the work we have been undertaking over the last year in more detail
