Someone Stateside said they got the parts to install the driver side factory grab handle for like $300 USD which I think is notably less than $600 AUS dollars.

US$300 is about A$460 depending on the foreign exchange rate you can get. Add labour for fitting then add 10% Goods and Services tax and you won't get much change out of A$600. . . The US has economies of scale we can only dream about!

The price includes fitting. US$300 for the parts would be about AUD$460 and balance, $140, for the labour and gst, which I don’t think is too bad.

I miss my regular (x4 per year) work-related trips to the US (mainly West Coast plus Dallas Tx).
Did not realize it included the installation.
