Here is a thought.. Not meant turning the IG into s submarine. Is it possible to feed a tube through from the airbox, inside the fender, to the RAI. Objective is to reduce the probability water ingestion to the intake and give us a few inches or possibility even a foot extra margin for the unintended deeper than expected water crossing....
Not sure I could do it, but I'm sure someone will improve on the current set up.
I have sent further photos to dealer for comparison to what they have in stock. They have agreed to raise it with Ineos.
I have no complaint about service I have received.

Seeing as someone had lost the vent from the RAI I took to mine with a couple of dabs of Sikaflex, that "should " work

Sealing the outer Part to the fender is easy using sikaflex. But how about the inner plästic? It is not easy accessible. Do you take off the fender to seal it?

Is there anyone in the forum who has made progress here? I would also be interested in achieving increased protection against liquid entering the air filter box.
From what I can tell.. It is "one tube" from the air-box inlet to the RAI inlet. Unfortunately I have not had the chance to check if this tube has any drain hole along the way... I think we need to open the wheel fender lining for better inspection

The drain is at the fender inlet
