Just had a call from Magic Enterprises, Perth, and was told that the Thalatta has arrived off Fremantle today and that 19 of the 27 Grens to be off-loaded will be put in quarantine for an undefined period. Eadon said that he expects no more than a week.. The first 8 will probably get PDI, and fitted up before the rest are released. He said that this info was in an email from IG Aus with no explanation as to cause!

Just got off the phone from the dealer, vehicle is here- that's the good news, bad news is that it's being held back for quarantine inspection ??? sounds like political port wrangling to me.IT

All part of owning an INEOS it seems.

My ship was locked down for 3 ½ weeks in quarantine, but this sounds like an inspection of the car. It may not be too bad.

At least the airbag fix is available, no extra delays because of that.

Stopping at South Africa can cause problems. Morning Composer was locked down in Melbourne for 3 ½ weeks. All part of owning an INEOS, a right of passage.

Purnell Adventure just called; the Grenadier can be picked up at 4:30pm today. It hasn’t sunk in yet.

If all goes well the passenger airbag delay is now fixed. The recent arrivals only need a patch to be roadworthy as part of pre-delivery.

No. I have it now. They finished earlier than 4:30pm and I picked it up earlier.
