For further info, the fridge slide I'm looking at is the Dometic/Frontrunner item for the CFX3 55IM (already have the fridge).
Dometic CFX3 Slide 55/55IM - Fridge slide for CFX3 55/55IM

The platform depth of the storage system is long enough for this (25mm longer than the slide assembly). My idea was that I'd mount the slide to the storage system using the T-slot on the left and rear (front when at the back of the vehicle) which would give 30mm clearance at the front (rear of the slide) to clear the angled back seat.
With the slide being designed for the Dometic CFX3 55 there is 4 mounting points for the fridge in the slide (though the bottom) so you don't have to use straps through the handles to tie the fridge to the slide, though I'd like to use them as well given the corrugations I often drive on, worst case I may have to remove the rear handle to clear the seat and only use the front handle to put straps thorugh for additional security.
Quick update!
Have assembled the platform and placed it in the car, but not installed it as I didn't have the required T## bit to remove the factory bolts into the floor, will be off to find the required bit tomorrow so I can complete the install.
Couple of things to note, the instructions are a bit vague in places, you end up having to look at the overall exploded diagrams more than the individual steps to see what goes where in some parts. And the feet that attach to the floor at the rear of the vehicle had to swap sides once I got it in, they're angled, on the instructions it showed them angled towards the front but once I had the unit in the car found they had to be angled the other way which meant swapping sides for the 2 pieces, not an issue as I had to take it out anyway to get on with mounting up the slide.
And while there is a opening in the left infill panel (it's 2 parts) to access the 12V outlet, not all 12v plugs will fit it, my Dometic fridge plug is quite long as it's a standard 12V plug/inline fuse/2 pin plug (not fused) all in one. Was thinking I may have had to cut the standard plug off, fit a basic 12V plug then an inline fuse after a short length of cable to fir but then found some 90 degree adaptors online so will give one of them a go.
As for the slide, while the Dometic/Front Runner 55L slide will fit on the platform front to rear, once the fridge is on the slide I found that I had to move the slide towards the rear by about 50mm to prevent the fridge from hitting the top of the back seats. Fortunately every thing was trial fitted before drilling holes in the platform to secure the slide. And even though the slide overhangs the rear of the platform slightly it does still clear the cargo does fine and was able to use 9 of the 10 fixing locations, which the instructions suggest using a minimum of 6 or.
I have also removed the front facing handle from the fridge to prevent contact with the back seat, though I may be able to get it back on once everything is in place, this was so I could use the fridge to slide direct mounting option which centralises the fridge over the slide. Could have probably kept the handle on if the fridge was pushed as far to the rear as possible on the slide and straps were used to secure it.
This does have me wondering though, can I move my station wagon rear seats forward? I'm aware the unity wagon has its rear seats sitting a little further forward than the station wagon for compliance reasons, and that they can be moved back into the stations wagon's position if desired however doing so could cause compliance issues if checked. I'm not sure how much difference there is between seat locations but this may allow me to move the slide to where I would prefer it, more for cosmetic reasons than anything.
Will upload some photos once I've completed the install.
