I hate when people make me spend my money! :) That Helle thing looks amazing, just pre ordered one. How hard was it installing the L track on the sides of the back?
Wasn't difficult to install. You can dial down the length and the height.
Here's their assembly video...

Hi all,

Has anyone installed one of these yet:

I'm quite interested but yet to see or hear about any installs...

Cheers
Hi Miltz

Yes I have recently done it and I am very happy.

One feature of the platform is that has passive tension arms which push down on FR boxes that simply slide underneath. This is very useful for rattling etc.

I have added Bison-Gear side baskets and shelf which helps fully utilize the space.

Take care to buy a drop fridge slide, as the height of the fridge makes it very difficult to access. The Alu-Cab one I bought is fantastic.

Just got an email from Front Runner to say they are now in stock!

I won't go with a drop fridge slide, they take up too much space and are heavy. I have a set of light weight folding steps I'll use if needed, my wife who's quite a bit shorter than myself currently uses them when she's trying to find things buried at the bottom of the fridge but I haven't had any issues with height than an extra foot might...
