With mine it will be $3k or so in tax savings. On the Rivian it will be a $4500 savings in taxes.
Soon. Waiting is hard to do.Thanks. I am not one of themz
I wish.@Chadd7 are you one of the 6?
I just reached out to Members First CT Credit Union. Thank you for posting about it, no way I would have ever knew about it otherwise!!!! Much appreciated.Curry will have other financing options other than Santander, which is unlikely to be competitive according to other threads…>10%. But as pointed out above, PenFed Credit Union (6.06% on a 60mo.) looks competitive as does Members First CT Credit Union (5.50% on a 60mo.)
Eligibilty is restricted to Meriden, Wallingford, Hamden, Cheshire, North Haven or North Branford or being a relative of a member, however.I just reached out to Members First CT Credit Union. Thank you for posting about it, no way I would have ever knew about it otherwise!!!! Much appreciated.
Thanks for the info long-lost-cousin family member Sandy. I'll tell them you sent me.Eligibilty is restricted to Meriden, Wallingford, Hamden, Cheshire, North Haven or North Branford or being a relative of a member, however.
They also don’t do Commercial vehicle loans. Just found that out.Eligibilty is restricted to Meriden, Wallingford, Hamden, Cheshire, North Haven or North Branford or being a relative of a member, however.
He bought an extended warranty. I mean, that’s like 6.2K in pure profit. They are probably using the massive profit from the extended warranty, to offset overpaying for the Rivian. All right, now I am getting a bit chuffed: I just saw this post on FB, NC dealer invoice for a Gren with a Rivian R1S trade in, similar mileage, giving him 80k trade in credit…View attachment 7834422
Actually, he would have made out all right. (Had he gone through with the Gren) If he ordered when I did for mine, or earlier, it was before they raised the prices $17k… We were allowed to keep the original lower prices after everyone threatened to cancel.Poor guy is trading in a 2023 Rivian R1S Launch Edition, and is probably taking a 10-15k wash on it.
I got a $7000 offer from Carvana for my 2008 E60 M5. Nah, I'll pass. It's worth 2.5x that. BMW isn't building anymore V-10 supercars anytime soon.Poor guy is trading in a 2023 Rivian R1S Launch Edition, and is probably taking a 10-15k wash on it.
Boys remember, you walk into the dealer, and you ONLY buy the car. Say no to everything else, and bring your own financing. Enough with this auto-cartel nonsense. They make OPEC look like nuns. If you have a trade-in, sell it direct to Carvana / Vroom etc…
I got a Carvana offer for a 2014 Prius, for 12k. I paid 21k for that car 10 years ago (bought it new, for my wife). That’s 9k in depreciation, aka $75 of depreciation a MONTH !I got a $7000 offer from Carvana for my 2008 E60 M5. Nah, I'll pass. It's worth 2.5x that.
