Take into account as a starting point before a GVM upgrade for the cab chassis version.

1. The cab chassis is ‘certified’ as the same kerb weight as the QM with tub. There’s a range of tests for certification in numerous jurisdictions. This is the official figure and INEOS must only communicate this.
2. The AUS NB1 Cab Chassis (base trim) Petrol has a kerb weight of 2,446kg & the Diesel has a kerb weight of 2,527kg both including 90% fuel tank full & all other fluids at the correct level.
3. The total gross weight of both versions is 3,550kg (GVM)
So as standard the load capability of petrol is 1,104 kg and diesel 1,023 kg.
That is without a GVM upgrade.
There are also different types of GVM upgrades and many people get the wrong ones or useless ones.

Am I supposed to know what GVM is?
It means Gross Vehicle Mass.

The maximum weight of the Grenadier permitted under Australian road laws. The INEOS Grenadier has a GVM of 3550kg in Australia.

That GVM figure can be increased under certain conditions, normally with some mods and an engineering sign off.
