Contrast Ladder Frame (?)

All the latest photos/vehicles I've seen don't have the red recovery points.

I ordered in May, just received the animation video last week.
Red frame - Red recovery points.
Either the 3D animator didn't get the memo or they will be supplied Red.

I'm normally not picky about such details. But the red recovery points are something I'd really want to have. They give the grenadier a nice detail of its purpose and character.

And I do not at all understand why they canceled that? There is no extra paint necessary, you have just to throw a few hundreds of them in a red paint tub and that's it.

Maybe we should file a petition with Ineos.

Any ideas how to do that?

Probably they are attached to the frame before the coating. So it would be an extra step…
But then the red frame should get the red recovery points

I’m starting to prefer them in black.

Who says they cancelled it?

Couldn't you just paint them whatever colour you wanted when you received the vehicle?

It's unclear to me whether they are bolt on parts or welded into place and as such an integral part of the chassis.

This photo appears to have a slight overspray area, which might suggest it was always an additional activity once the chassis has had it's final colour coat.

That's right. And when I'm bored I'll perhaps do so. But I'm never bored.

On this thread, I'm embarrassed to say that I set that hare running.

It was my belief that I was repeating something someone had written elsewhere on this forum or possibly one of the FB groups...

In my defence, no standard coloured chassis'd vehicle from recent PTO2 onwards (post Bad Kissingen) appears to have red recovery points (there's a hostage to fortune! ).

Your config also shows the safari windows open with the rack. I hope that is the case. I don’t care if you can’t remove them but sure would be nice to open them.
I tried opening the roof windows with roof rack on my test drive and they wouldn’t open enough to lock in place.

Has anyone seen the safari windows removed at all? Quite looking forward to that option.
