with adding a black roof, is there much contrast?

This pic gives the best impression regarding black on grey. Very, very subtle.

I have the Queens Red. It’s about a week old now and I have to say, it’s aging like fine wine, which is kind of what it looks like.

Eldoret Blue is really growing on me. I think I’d wrap the top and nose in white. I’d also get the steels wheels and paint them white.

No - same color. I added the full size Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform to the roof. So far I’ve installed a very handy Kuat ski rack with sliding trays. I’ll put my tent and awning up as soon as the adapters arrive. I am dying to get out to the desert…

I had thought I’d get a Sela Green, and then added a white-roof, and was on-board with some white steel rims. When it came time to put in my config, I listened to my wife and got a Donny Gray. Starting to question it, and my build is no where in sight, so I might or might not be able to change it now. My wife thought it was a little too much. There already is a green/white/white IG here in Denver- and I don’t know if that makes me want it more or less. Reports that the Donny gray is darker than people thought gives me pause. have the black and gray leather option right now too.

Planning on an Eiback spring kit and 33in tires. Looking for rock rails with a bit more step function.

How are people liking their Donney Gray?

If you just can't commit to one colour, there's an option in the online configurator to select more than one. I think it's CTRL-ALT-OPT-CMD while holding SHIFT and then you right click the colour(s) you want to combine. The most I was able to select at once was four. But my hands aren't what they used to be. It would be great if INEOS offered a "let us decide your colour" option. Maybe at a discount. So they can use up the paint left at the end of each shift or something.

So my only question with the PPF wrap is Does the PPF prevent the subtle changes in the color with direct sunlight vs. indirect sunlight?

Tough choice here, but the Curry team has been a major fan of the Sela Green! Can't go wrong with either though...

That’s what I ordered but I am going to put a white wrap on the roof, paint under the roof rack gets killed & I like the contrast and if I don’t I can remove it. Plus maybe add white steelies.

I have seen all available colours at my nearest dealer. They had ca. 25 Grenadiers in their car park, some with white or black roof. Now I have been there 4 times in different daylight.
It`s unbelievable how most of the available colours change with altering light. To me most colours are really beautiful! To me especially Eldoret Blue and Sela Green. Since we go very often into nature, on safari in southern Africa, Sela Green ist the best colour for us. It melts best with the green in nature. Furthermore it looks mostly like an expensive dark metallic green. I saw it with a white roof and white rims. I have to say :no.
Why? It looks good only when the car is clean. As soon as there is dust/mud on it, it doesn`t look nice anymore!
I have the ideal green and white combination on my Defender: Keswick green, white roof and white rims, like the match box car. Keswick green melts best with the green colours in nature and differs in colour very much with changing daylight. Even when ist dusty, it still looks good.I would like to get this colour on the Grenadier!
As a result: I will take the Grenadier all in Sela green. but of course it`s my opinion. There is never the best colour for every body!

I’m glad I went with Donny Grey. I do love the white roof + wheels look especially with Eldoret Blue and Magic Mushroom. I realised today that I made the right choice (for me) though because of how equally good Donny Grey looks both when it’s clean and when it’s wearing 2 months worth of dirt.

Tomorrow’s job: painting the recovery points red for some bonus functional contrast.
