I need to park the car outside due to it being too tall for my garage. I have a bunch of trees where i park my cars and tree sap is a fact of life...
Can anyone recommend some car covers for the grenadier for outdoor use? Northern California so no snow required but it can get hot here.
Something i can put on myself and that won't scratch the paint.

I also have to park outside at the moment 24/7 so I had the vehicle ceramic coated.

i ordered this one:

I'll let you know how it works out. I have not ordered from this company before but i'm hopeful that its legit. Price wasn't awful. I usually order for covercraft or cal covers but those are more expensive (and didn't have anything specific for the grenadier.

I might get one if it is on the UK Amazon site. We have a problem starting at this time of the year with swallows nesting in our outbuildings and stables. They make a mess of the vehicles with their droppings. Their redeeming feature that outways their droppings is the fact they catch midges by the 10,000s

I used to have my land rover perentie parked under trees for some months when working overseas - I used an ex military parachute which was really effective

Ok, trying this again. This is the one I bought off of Amazon. Grenadier car cover.

It fits great and looks just like the photos in the listing. I just received my GP Factory roo bar, so will snug up a bit, but don't think it will be a problem for fitment. The one posted by Parb, may be better in the long run, but will wait and see how mine does.

I also bought this one for when hail storms are coming thru regularly during spring and fall in Texas. Thing works like a charm, but is more involved in setup and packing away. But this takes my worry out for hail damage on the Grenadier. Hail Protector for your vehicles. I got SUV2 size, was worried that it would be too big. It is large but gives it more room to expand to deflect any large hail.

Any car cover used outdoors will end up scratching the finish it’s practically unavoidable. Higher quality materials can help with cover longevity and resist scratching initially but all covers eventually succumb to UV, moisture, abrasion and debris contamination. The worst thing you can do is put a cover over a car that has not been washed first which is not always practical to do.

Debris trapped between the paint and cover can act like sandpaper as the cover moves around in the wind against the body of the vehicle. Also, repeatedly dragging the cover over the paint as you remove and install it will also cause scratches especially on tall vehicles like the Grenadier where without a ladder there is no easy way to lift the cover up off the vehicle. Not saying a cover can’t be a good short term solution for outdoors especially if your parking options are limited but be prepared for more paint maintenance in general if used longterm.
