Where is the rear door 'closed' sensor?

This is a sidetrack from another similar thread of mine on a different subform here....

I think I'm having a problem with the rear door sensor. Can anyone show me where it is, how to adjust it or simply disable it? I've looked all around the rear doors and see nothing that might be it.

get your dealer to replace it.
It is part of the alarm system and will not allow you to lock the vehicle with the button on the key if not working
You will only be able to lock/unlock with the key inserted in the door and this will not set the alarm
 
My experience is different than Dave's.

I removed the interior plastic trim around the window on the rear 70 door. There are two wires leading down from the top latch next to the latch cable. I cut and crimped the wires together closing the sensor circuit. No more bong from the back door. Alarm and locks work as expected.
