Plucking them gently one by one off the plate? We don't mash our peas on the little island underneath yours
It’s funny you said this bc when I was writing this thread I was thinking — should I put gender? Should I put sex? Am I supposed to do both? Should I google it? Is it wrong to ask this? Will people think I’m asking this for some reason other than curiosity?
And the answer to every question is I don’t know lol. These days I don’t know what to say sometimes when it comes to stuff like this bc I worry that what I knew was acceptable yesterday is no longer relevant.
me too.I got it. I was having a bit of fun with it...
No peas, just fresh Tassy scallops todayPlucking them gently one by one off the plate?
Nothing normal about spoiling a perfectly good pie with peas mushed or otherwise….You mean us normal Aussie blokes who know we're blokes, chillin' with a meat pie and mushy peas
Humour is good. Gender conversations are interesting but can be convolute. People are what really matters. Good manners and acceptance of diversity are essential. There is zero need to be unkind or deprecating about another’s outlook or belief system.
QED.

Yes it's a round pastry box, full of scallops in a creamy sauce. The cafe doesn't always do the scallop ones. But they have a few tasty alternativesNICE!! Besides cars/trucks/suvs, food is my jam (see what I did there? ). Excuse my lack of knowledge, but I am in the USA, is this like a “pot pie”

Mmmmm a pie floater! I’m off to Adelaide tomorrow, the home of the floater, so I’ll see if I can find an eatery that serves this South Australian delight. Unfortunately the pie carts (and the spoons chained to the side of the cart) are long gone. You mean us normal Aussie blokes who know we're blokes, chillin' with a meat pie and mushy peas
