I see what you mean - not an option to configure a "bog-standard" SW it seems. TBH I don't remember if that is a change as I was always getting a Utility. What has shocked me is that I just re-configured my UW to the exact specification I now have and the price is 15 thousand pounds more than I paid.

I'm assuming your initial was MY23, correct? If so, that makes sense due to the pricing shift for the MY24 vehicles

In the UK Ineos locked in the original prices for early adopters I guess. Yes I ordered mine in May 2022.

For Service yes, as we're an independent European specialty workshop of ~25yrs, with a long history of BMW, ZF trans, MagnaSteyr vehicles, Recaro, etc etc...seemed a great fit for the IA brand, but instead IA are going to require IG owners to drive/tow 3-7hrs instead to a Sales/Service facility. So much for their website's words about having a service location within an hour of IG owners...

In Australia it starts with Station Wagon or Utility Wagon 2 seat
You then select which and in both cases you then get 3 options

@RaceTex I know you are probably sworn to secrecy, and maybe I missed something, but what date is “Dealer Day”? Assuming that’s the day when the fog will be lifted and all will become clear?

The day that IG publicly announces all dealers, sharing their contact information, and symbolically passing the torch as dealers assume responsibility for communicating with reservationists and any new pre-orders. Should happen next month.

Hmm, many of us thought this was supposed to happen months ago, before they started accepting USA orders? I missed the delay/push to have a later "dealer day."

I don’t think you missed it (unless I did too). IA didn’t communicate next steps to us in that manner.

1. June - Open US portal with pricing and configure and reserve your IG.
2. July & August - Ineos reviews all reservations and prioritizes production schedule based on when initial reservation deposit ($495~) was submitted.
3. September - Announce dealer network and expected production date based on the above. Dealers begin reaching out to reservation holders directly.
4. December - First orders start to be delivered.

I totally get why you might feel left in the dark about "Dealer Day" and the launch in general. It can be frustrating when you're eagerly waiting for updates. But from my perspective, the company's been doing a stellar job, sharing as much as they can without overstepping. Trust me, I'm just as eager as you are, and I genuinely believe they're keeping us in the loop as best they can.

Current Situation:

• The original plan was for "Dealer Day" to happen this month. However, unforeseen bureaucratic challenges have led to delays.
• IA is diligently working through their federal/state licensing. Many dealers, myself included, are also navigating through state licensing requirements.

The Uncertainty:

• Once these matters/applications are in the government's hands, predicting an exact timeline becomes challenging. While I'm optimistically hoping for next month, I'd urge caution in setting that as a definite expectation. Again, we're dealing with the government.

• "Now after that, we're going to be announcing publicly all the details for our dealers, covering sales and service across the US and Canada. The exact timing for that event is uncertain. This is due to the varying processes of becoming licensed as a manufacturer and correctly contracting with our dealer partners across US states and Canadian provinces. Rest assured, we will update you as soon as we have further details or a more precise timeline."

I guess I don't understand your last comment, which I see a lot from others as well. IA has said that they plan to start delivering pre-orders in December. At this point, are you expecting more specifics aside from that, like the ability to log in and see your vin # and your estimated arrival/delivery date?

I’m in the reservation-pre-order queue, and that’s good enough for me. Updates are nice, but I’m OK waiting for IA to resolve their red tape issues.
