Hi YellowLab, I'm not sure you can set more than one favorite item at a time. DaBull
Sounds like communism if we can only have one favorite. Wonder if you can use to to get you partially to the right step then use it once, change the setting and use it again to get back to the partial step?

Actually forgot it was present, other than the occasional speed sign popping up on the display. Then again, we were driving back normal madhouse freeway traffic and last thing I was listening for were "new" sounds.
As I mentioned previously, did not even realize was present other than the occasional 'sound' (lots of new , different sounds to get used to) and the speed sign popping up on the center display.

Will attach photos of our settings shortly, however setting ISA, Speed edit: in process of uploading images from phone (taking longer than expected)

I got a reply from Stephan at BimmerCode, also a No at this point.

I’ve just picked up a coding tool called ThinkDiagAG that the Porsche community has been using with success to code cars (which has been historically harder to do than BMW). Apparently it works across all cars and is relatively cheap. Might be worth a shot. Also, note the full coding functionality only works on Android devices, not iOS, so keep that in mind if anyone decides to go this route. When I get my Gren, I’ll try it, but I’m 3 months away.

Oh boy going down that rabbit hole now WOW, Magna Steyr has been involved with porsche on and off for years, interesting reading about the coding possibilities that the porsche guys are doing.

When you use 'Favorite' to jump to that section - can you disable SPEED and LANE Change as well?

No. The favorite button on the console is mapped to a single setting/area. The bing/bonging about the speed warning is from the Intelligent Speed Assist function, where as the Lane Departure is from the ADAS ('parent' of ISA).

In the manual, should be able to look for "CCI Favorite". You should, though be able to create multiple favorites on the screen.

On my new Tundra truck I used the Carista App and OBD2 module that can be inserted to change settings such as turning off my seat belt warning noise. Perhaps in the future it will work on the IG to change the settings. It only had to be used one time to change the software.

I hear ya - but I'm very cautious with software changes independently - the car has the aerodynamics of a brick - but do not want to make it into a brick so to speak

To make all this worse in my experience, the darn thing is "remembering the off setting" sometimes between key cycles. I drove it two days ago and turned the speed alert off, let it sit over Christmas at least 36hrs locked up in the driveway, and this morning got in, went to change the setting to "off" so I could tolerate driving the thing and it was already "off". Wonder if it is because I only clicked the key fob lock once, opened passenger door first, parked facing north, used e-brake? And to add further aggravation of the Ineos trademark "clicking" today, two weeks into ownership and use, it has decided to "click" one time each time I make a turn over say 80degrees or so. LOL - I took video to add to the dealer repair list when I take it in. I do love the truck, but this electronic stuff is making it unlivable. SOMEONE PLEASE, PLEASE find the wire to cut !!!!

I was just noticing this same thing this morning. Was off when I headed out early for a hike, then was on after the hike and then was off again after it sat for 30 min. Maybe it “learns” preferences and is getting better at knowing. Our Jag seems similar.

Can’t quite tell from the vid but is it a mechanical click or a programmed sound?

No matter what, don't cut the blue wire.

Thats funny! I was trying to focus on the big issues but yes, on occasion, it will remember the settings! Sometimes. I 'think' the 80 degree turning thing is related to how much you have to turn and not getting it into the lane.

It will be interesting to see what version new models get in other parts of the world as well as if this becomes part of a software update where everyone has some version of ADAS.

Is it the speed limit change indicator? When you turn onto another street that has a different speed limit from the one you were on previously, the speed limit change would make it click. That can be turned off. It's the third item on the ISA menu.

I have been reading a lot on other forms and most readers have memory so you can rewrite the old code back in and I think its 80.00 reader and it works on about every car, the guy on one video was using it on a supra but used the BMW in the drop down menu to turn off any and everything he wanted it was not locked like one of the previous posters said about his tacoma, it should be that easy. as soon as I pick mine up I will dive into it..

This is a really good point. I'm certain the the display issues a CAN message to the controller for when the disable command is sent. I can hook up a can reader from work and see if i can get that message. if i can get it, i should be able to spoof it to the system from a can transmitter (and that isn't that hard to do). This sounds like something that shouldn't be that hard to do if ineos doesn't come through.

...And i'm sure some enterprising european talent will do something like this for their domestic markets... :)

For $80.00 does anyone know all the other dependent lines of code which if someone suppresses or deletes do not permanently hose this up? Is the line departure or speed tied into emergency braking? Does something else look at speed warning or something else - if any other system relies on ADAS data - you have in a word just f'ed a vehicle up (potentially) and voided your warranty...

Each time a software upgrade is performed by the dealer, the hack will probably be overwritten, hence the need for the changes to come from Ineos or the new software version would need the same hack(s) applied to it.
