Through those holes . Hope it helps
Thanks, I will remember that, but seen too late!

I somehow could rectify the bending by using a manual hoist attached to a tree, and some trial and error bending of another piece. Didn't take enough pictures. The result is not perfect, I did bend it slightly too much.

I haven’t driven my grenny since the 2nd of June, where I spent a wonderful weekend of country road touring where it performed delightfully.
Then I had this done and haven’t driven it since.
I hope to drive in another week or two, where I’ll hopefully drive up to visit the in-laws about 2 hours west.

It still needs a bath.

Healing well now, but the first two weeks weren’t a lot of fun.
I had both my knees replaced at the same time back in 2012.
I had them both checked a few months ago and they are still as new.
Told me to come back in 5 years for another check.
Glad I had them both done at the same time.

Yes,

Tip - a colloquial term for the place where you dispose of unwanted household items

Tip Rat - a very dirty member of staff wearing an equally dirty high visibility jacket. Intently watching to see if he can make some cash from your unwanted items. Will take a bribe.

Fly tipping - a gate to a field on a narrow quiet rural road where you also dispose of unwanted household items. No online booking required.

Rubbish - the British English word for trash or garbage. (Both these words have existed in British English for centuries but have dropped out of common usage)

Also, while I am on a roll.. Australians - a diff is the reduction gear in the middle of an axle - it is not the whole axle! (Sorry, but it had to be said)
Thank you for answering my question!

The word tip also means to unload. So it's somewhere where you unload your rubbish (aka garbage)
In Wyoming, we went to the dump. In WA state we go to the transfer station, where they transfer everything to landfill.

Finished my removable fridge slide project….

Full details here:

Happy with the outcome. I can take it out in less than 5 minutes… just zip off 8 bolts with a drill and socket.

Finally picked up my pre-order Grenadier from the dealer. OMG what a wait but thankfully it’s a true 4x4 and likeable crew there at Weissach in Vancouver. We’re in the middle of several weeks of camping which won’t involve the Grenadier much but anyways, here it sits parked its natural element for a while, looking as clean as it’ll ever be.

IN THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK NOW
I have started taking the Grenadier off road in the Queensland Outback around Eromanga – home of Australia’s giant dinosaurs.

One thing I noticed is how quick tyre temps and pressures increased when I hit the corrugations (washboard). Temperature jumps that take an hour to an hour and a half on the road took about 10 minutes on the corrugations.

The car performs well on corrugations, but I have not hit really bad corrugations yet. I visited Pegler’s Pond this morning, which is running low on water. Out here all the water is brown from the suspended silt. Not long after, it started to rain quickly turning the dust into mud.

As I write Galahs and Correllas are flying around screeching, enjoying the rain.

My SPOT tracker leaves bead crumbs so my travels can be viewed here. You may have to select Load Limited Data for it to display correctly.

Today I took my Ineos Grenadier (cap) to the Ineos Brittania America's Cup base in Port Vell, Barcelona. Unfortunately I was on a tour bus and couldn't stop. But I made the effort so I'm counting it.
And yes, I'm a long way from home in Australia.

To all Barcelonians (Catalans); you have a magnificent city, thank you for sharing.

Good evening,
I'm writing here without opening a new thread: where is the stick/pole that operates the jack located? I can't find it nearby now.
Thank you
