Mine were posted in Los Angeles on 12 Jan - arrived in Brisbane 8 days later(via Sydney) on 20 Jan and were supposedly in transit to my local Post Office on 20 Jan. The local Post Office is only 54 kms from Brisbane and I am still waiting 9 days later!

seems par for the course.... our regular postie was saying last week that they (Qld Aus. Post) are desperately short staffed and he's been taking extra shifts while he can before Uni begins late Feb. (he's a part time law student!!)

Gutter maintenance, The corners accumulate stuff , esp if you park outside and have little spiders.
Front rubber trim no problem. Rear trim ; well you will want to hold the rear piece in with one hand whilst prying the corner bit enough to clean. That rear trim piece is held on with a little white plastic clip which pops out of the rubber and gets stuck inro the panel side. It is a PITA to remove and then replace into the rubber, believe me. And there is another one beyond that.
I didn't want to risk breaking this delicate plug either, so I trod carefully.
If you experience salty conditions , you probably don't want salty grunge collecting in these areas, so preventative maintenance is wise.
I used some spider surface spray after cleaning.

Little side trip for work today. Drove over the Jamestown and Newport Bridges and took about 15 minutes to enjoy First Beach in Newport RI.

Nice crisp salty air (35 degrees air temp).

I tore my dash apart with he help of a video @ninetubes posted a while back but still can't figure out how to Tetris the big MXT radio body in without cutting trim or insulation. Even then I'm not sure if I could get the radio in or out of the bracket to do wiring so I may order the smaller MXT275 instead. It should stick right on the metal behind the dash.

Maybe consider mounting the MXT575 in the electrical box under the rear seats and then use an RJ45 extension cable to position the mic in your preferred location.

I use the hardtop hoist made by Harken. Just need to spec the weight you’ll be lifting (they have different ranges). Took my time mounting to the ceiling in my garage and it’s easy after that. Worked great with my New Defender. Now the hard part is finding a rack option that will still be able to do the same with the Grenadier.

If I decide to do my compressor in a portable setup that's the way I will go. I may upgrade to a double cylinder in the future so I was leaning portable anyway. I don't want to modify the grenadier for the single and then leave a mess when I upgrade. I bought the 575 a while ago so I can't return it and I would probably lose more than the cost of the 275 selling it. Probably best to just suck it up and install under the back seats or somewhere in the back.

That’s a canny bit more ‘crud’ than I imagined would accumulate under the trim, thanks for the info, especially where my vehicle operates.

Hello Tazzieman, do you perhaps have more photos of your cleaning at the rear end of the gutter? I still don't understand where there is a risk of damaging parts. thx.

The rubber that continues beyond the corner piece is attached to the top of the rear pillar by 2 plastic clips. Try not to pull this piece of rubber away. Pry the corner piece off the gutter whilst holding the thin piece to the pillar.
Does that make sense?

Today I dismounted all the trims of the bigger rear door. I'll explain the "why" later (no, no problem solving, modifying). I am not the first for the lower part, but I don't remember having seen somebody dismounting the upper one:

The lower trim piece of the window is fixed with one screw on the wiper motor, and the rest are clips. The upper window trim is clipped.

And for those who think that Britain didn't deliver parts for the Grenadier: both pieces are Made in the UK!

Like Jean, I had the rear door trim off yesterday and noted that the screws were very loose. This is due to the fact that I did not tighten them that much as it distorts the plastic trim panel.

I looked at Jean's image (which I borrowed) and highlighted what could be the cause. It looks like the screw holes have been recessed for some reason? Next time I have the panel off I will try some washers to see if it solves the issue.
