@bigleonski to get things sorted, it sounds like it's time for a Top Gear 0-100 challenge; petrol vs diesel.
Mine leaps off the line like my wife's EV 😊

Love the look of those Rosen visors, visibility limited with the factory units as seating positions puts me viewing the top section of the screen. I can also agree with the Serengeti sun glasses best sun glasses have ever purchased even with prescription lenses. My problem is my wife and daughter don't have Serengeti sun glasses, so may be cheeper for me to replace the visors.:cool::cool:

Here are a few quick pics to show the variations. With RAM, the possibilities are endless. The back of the iPad mount allows mounting the ball in a few different locations as well. It very easily allows swinging from driver to passenger.

USB: Amazon USB
I didn’t use the screws, I bought some small hex head bolts and used them to mount. 18ga wire in a loom for protection, WAGO connectors for easy install and removal.
Can you link me to where you purchased the dash mount and Ram product for phone mount?

From memory the sunnies were just under AUD$400 at the time so 40 years at $10 a year makes them cheap as chips.

I bought my Ray Ban originals in 1990, they have been hammered over the years, slight mark on a lease where a rock hit me in the face cycling to work. (Face didn't do so good!)
Plastic fames are are tarnishing over time but the lenses are still great and I have never found a better dark green tint! Case is Fu*%ed though

This is beginning to read like Terry Pratchett's missive about the rich and good boots!

“The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.

Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.

But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.

This was the Captain Samuel Vimes 'Boots' theory of socioeconomic unfairness.”

― Terry Pratchett, Men at Arms: The Play

I am hoping that the Grenadier will be a variation on the above, as I have sent several fortunes keeping old Defenders on the road. Buy well, buy once!

The dash mount was bought here:

Dash Mount

The RAM mounts (balls, extensions, iPad holder, etc. I bought directly from RAM Products. They also sell on Amazon. Get the product ID from RAM site, then shop around.

RAM Mounts

The long arm from the grab handle came with the Agile Off-road replacement grab handle.

Agile Grab Handle

iPhone SE Mount was from Pro Clip

Pro Clip phone mount Solutions

Let me know how you like the steering stabilizer.bonus points of you can test someone with the fox stabilizer and report any differences between them.

Par
The King returns to center about 75-85% versus stock. Drives very similar to a 4Runner or Wrangler. On the highway at 75mph is significantly better than stock and takes out 90% of the wandering and need to continuously steer back and forth. Well worth the $$$

@DaveB I'm quite rough on safety glasses. I scratch and pit them , and occasionally crush them or leave them under a lawn mower.
That said, my work is very precise 🫠

This is where my safety glasses, tinted and clear live every day in my standard work loadout.
In the spare wheel well along with the safety glasses have
Safety boots,
Cut resistant gloves
Ear plugs
Lightweight high vis vest and heavy reflective striped high visibility shirt
Under the rear seat is my heavy duty high vis parka/raincoat.
In the back is my basic product loadout.
I take double that on trips away and lash it down with ratchet straps.
I like to separate work and pleasure.
I plan to put the shelf across the top and on the inside above the wheel arches sometime in the near future
