And how do we feel about the EFB batteries, I was expecting AGM at this price point and use case.

Also recall Oz had a longer warranty than Europe one's. Forget whether it was the paint. Out and about at the mo so will look up later.

Where is the power outlet from the second battery? Switched from the roof panel?
Multiple, 4 deutsche plugs on the roof, under the tie down rails, one high Amp NATO plug on the rear under the bumper, additional outlets under the dash and in the engine bay.

I have optioned them on my Fieldmaster
In fact I have all the Trialmaster options on my Fieldmaster
With me it's almost the other way around, but I didn't want the wheels of the Fieldmaster  , the leather, the carpets, also not necessary, but yes the safari windows, central locker box, ...

I went with the utility floor not the carpet, got stuck with the carpet mats but will get rubber as well
Leather was on my list whichever base I started from

I also ordered the Trialmaster and basically added all the Fieldmaster features to it. (Kept rubber floor but added carpet mats) Basically it results in getting the RAI for free.

AGM you only get 50% of the amp rating - ie when voltage drops. Most off roaders & campers in Aussie now install a 205 amp hr LiPo auxiliary battery with a 2000w 240v inverter (like the EnerDrive systems) enerdrive.com.au - to run a 80 /90 ltr fridge & freezer, a dual motor air compresser for tyre inflation, 8t Hydraulic bottle jack & torque wrench. It easily runs the inverter cook top (far better quicker than gas in wind), all lights and other accessories easily. Now there are flat LiPo batteries with Bluetooth monitoring for concealed spacers. Be re-usung some of the wiring loom only.

EFB batteries are superior for auto stop start vehicles

What is an EFB battery?

An enhanced flooded battery (EFB) can also be used in cars that feature Stop-Start technology. It is considered an entry level battery for use in cars with this technology. EFBs are wet-filled and similar to standard flooded batteries, however, there are differences that give these batteries enhanced cycling abilities and improved charge acceptance. This means the battery recovers more quickly, as its application needs to handle heavy-duty, cyclic, Start-Stop applications.

Not to mention weight savings of up to 12KGs

Or....like you can buy for Mercedes vehicles an OBD plug which renders the stop-start inoperative

I read recently that an obd plug (e.g a bluetooth one) should not be left in the socket indefinitely... but I'm not sure why. Mr Mike does anything need to be attached to the said OBD plug...e.g are a couple of the pins shorted by a jumper wire to disable the stop/start function?
My neighbour was mortified at the local shops this morning: his v late model C-class 2 door MB.... "failed to proceed"! flat battery. Seems he's working from home mostly and rarely drives the vehicle these days... and he didn't realise he probably ought turn off the engine stop/start each time ...
why do the manufacturers have to make it so hard?

Discovered that for the wife's 2019 Subaru Impreza, an unwired trailer plug in the bumper socket disengages the stop/start (y)

I have a bluetooth device in my 200 series permanently without issue, the MB OBD plugs are permanent- in so much as they work when it's in and not when taken out. Interesting to read about the trailer plug scenario

I'm pretty sure every person here that has had children or grandchildren knows what you mean.
Ok not a coke but certainly a bottle of water.
Dog pee poop vomit. I use water resistant seat covers. How does hosing out the floor work with the batteries? Maybe a marine enclosure would work. Be patient, I'm an amateur. Moll is sealed, correct? Does not require vent like typical RV aux batteries?
