windshield exterior fogging

I'm having significant issues with fogging on the windshield EXTERIOR. I live in a high humidity area (FL). I have tried adjusting the ventilation so that no air is directed toward the windshield and have increased the interior temp a bit (although I don't want to go above 77 degrees for comfort reasons). I recently tried applying ClearVision which made the fogging worse. Most of the anti-fogging products I have seen are made for interior glass.

Anybody else have this issue and have found a way to reduce or eliminate exterior fogging?

Years ago I applied Rain-X to the exterior windshield my car. While large droplets of water would roll off in the airstream (as intended), the windshield would never fully clear in misty conditions. My takeaway is to be very selective about anything, included film, added to the outside of the “windscreeen”.

Mine fogs as well here in Dallas. Very annoying. It's due to the dash decoy vents blowing on that part of the windscreen. If you can block or deflect that air it will stop.

Yea it's an air leak to the windshield defroster vents when you use auto. If you use in manual, it won't blow on the windshield. They need to fix this with a simple software update.
