Who is experiencing software or electrical gremlins?

My vehicle is having a minor fix done at Chandlers, Belton. At the same time I asked about any recalls due?

My car was serviced in June and there are 6 due (all minor). One for software - any ideas what this one is about?

Ineos seem to be constantly rolling out updates. Whilst my vehicle was in getting other issues sorted it’s had two updates in the last month. What I can say is, whatever they have done, people can now hear me when I call them via the hands free and my radio sound no longer keeps dropping out.

yesterday for the first time i had gremlins:
4 hour highway trip. after 30 minutes from the start apple car play disconnects and for the remaining 3.5 hours there was no way to reconnect it (luckily i knew the road).
shortly after the entire infotainment system froze up and down. first the audio playback from usb worked but you couldn't change the song, adjust the volume, go to any other function on the screen..... it remained blocked for tens of minutes and then suddenly execute all the commands previously ignored, and then it froze again. no rear camera.... it looked like a 15 year old windows pc

next week i have to do the service and they have already announced a software update.

i don't understand why up until two days ago everything was ok and yesterday instead not....

If you buy an EV you get used to software issues. Most of them are false alarms , annoying but you just press reset rather than get the dealer out of bed.
The IG is also a computer on wheels , whether we like it or not.

So far, touch wood, I haven't had any software issues apart from two occasions ESC warnings appeared (and went away on restart).

Interesting as we are both UK and mine was only delivered two weeks and factory built in July but you have a number that is much higher than mine after your updates around the same time. Unless there are multiple branches for cars that have the mandatory driver assistance requirements and those that do not.

Plus software - it's now running version: 689002940. I haven't noticed any change with the vehicle.

The only difference I noticed in the software update is that the heater set temperature remains visible for five or six seconds after adjusting the dial whereas previously it disappeared almost immediately.

I had my stop start fixed too. Have you notice that your battery charge is charging quicker to 100%?

Mine was updated to 2940 at it's recent service. I am fairly convinced that the hand free quality has been improved? I haven't noticed anything else. The DAB radio reception is still crap.

I have the same software version and hands free call quality is good now and DAB now only drops out infrequently

Perhaps I should try and check if the DAB antenna is connected as it is very poor and the FM isn't amazing. I am not sure if it's the same aerial and how to check?

The function of my Fav button is degrading rapidly. I have to programmed for ADAS disable screen, but it is more random than that. Sometimes it works, some times is takes you to a random screen, and Sunday is even disconnected CarPlay and left me at the main screen.

IA - you seriously need to fix the head unit programming.

Audio randomly switches between XM radio, Youtube music playlist, then back to XM radio.

If you search the threads there is info on how, are where they are located. There are 2 one either side in the rear upper plastic wing covers.
