What Rocksliders / Side Steps did you choose

If there was some way to remount the factory sliders where they are 1-2 inches out further from the body, they would be prefect for me. Just enough space for the kids to use as a step. May crawl under this weekend and see what I can see, but I’m guessing it’s a no go.

Im in the same place. Got the factory sliders installed on credit and they look great but with the height of truck, a step would be great.

How are the BS steps holding up? Any pictures you can post?

Actually I think these are off my list, just 4 steps are over 1k! Wow
I bought just the two steps for the front (because I’m antisocial and rarely haul ppl lol) and it was ~500-550 shipped iirc, i’d reach out to them and see if they still offer that option.

They are easy to install and sturdy, i weigh 230lbs and they dont flex when i step on them. From any significant distance I find they are almost unnoticeable.

Hi, Just picked up my new Fieldmaster in MM on Tuesday! Echoing what others have said - I got the the credit and chose the rock sliders and they aren't quite the step I was looking for. Need a little something to get my mom in! I have looked at the Black Sheep add-on steps but to the US it is $640 which just seems like a bit much. I like the BS ones though, so wondering what else has been a hit with this group for add-on steps to the existing OEM rock slider. Thanks you!

The only other brand of add on step that I have (I think) seen posted about is by bison gear.

it looks like Bison Gear sells a version but its sold out.

Good morning,
I don't think you can go wrong with Black Sheep, all their stuff looks amazing. I chose Buzz Overland sliders. I like that they are made of stainless. I have scratched them up and don't have to worry about rust. Shipping times are pretty long for Buzz products. Also some of us had damage to the mounting portion from shipping. I am sure they have sorted that by now. If I was to do this over, I would still consider Buzz.

These look great!

Is anyone unhappy with the OEM sluders and if so, why?
Mine aren't the sliders but are the OEM steps and are being replaced on the 31st due to surface rust...rocky roads, stone chips and living coastal doesn't help.
I am going to take precaution and Raptor paint maybe, still checking the options (y)

The OEM steps are potential ankle breakers and the grip is pretty woeful.

My wife is the step user and no issues so far...she is pretty good in that area but wet muddy boots will test you...like climbing a ladder hang on first then step (y)
Try entry & driving in waders! It can be done.

I think the oem sliders look awesome, appear stout and really fit well for a slider. The compromise is, they are not a useable step…At least in the position mine are in. From other pictures online, I feel like maybe there is some mounting variance of sticking an extra inch or two out, which would be all I need for a step. Maybe it’s just the camera.

All that said, bolt on steps seem to be an easy solution.
