Interesting one yesterday on my way to the shooting range.
I had left the fridge and everything on in the Beast for a couple of days and the battery was on 0% State of Charge when I got in.
After driving to Howard about 15 minutes away down a gravel road I pulled over to restart the car to see if I could clear some fault signs.
Power steering was Ok despite the error and the steering was operating as perfect as usual.
The headlights are always on Auto and despite a beautiful sunny day they would not turn off.
No idea if the traction control was actually working or not.
It would not allow me to use cruise control.
After driving for another 30 minutes on the highway at 110 kph charge had gone up to 52%
I stopped at a servo for some refreshments and when I got back in everything was working as normal.
After 2 hours at the range I started her up and no alarms at all.

More than likely this is NOT a contributor to your low volts wackiness, but I spent a recent weekend frustrating away at the Auto headlights trying to get them to turn off during the clear sunny days. No harm in them being on, it was just me trying to not lose the fight. I eventually gave up and used the O.F.F. position instead 👍

On Sunday evening after we got back home I cleaned out the car and removed the local tourist map from the top of the dashboard where I had placed it in easy reach - right on top of the cabin ambient light sensor 🥴

Some days I'm as sharp as a Nerf dart.

The only thing on top of my dash is a lot of dust.

Finally got my HAM radio installed. Fished the antenna coax (the very thin type offered by Diamond) through the left side roof power grommet, down the b-pillar (behind the airbag), under the passenger threshold to the battery box where the radio is mounted on the GP factor bracket.

Ran a longer Ethernet cable from there to the control unit mounted on an Agild Offroad ball mount over the right heated seat dial. Should be able to pull the control unit off when not in use, for a less cluttered cockpit.

Went with the Diamond K540 folding antenna mount clamped onto the roof lashing bar. Wanted a spring mount but the one I tried wouldn’t work. Maybe I’ll find a better one in the future.
