Lol... i was actually thinking Bruce Willis - Die Hard.
Being a family friendly forum i didn't put the complete quote...

Got very wet!

Very wet/windy morning moving hardcore - pulled over 3 tonnes quite easily but got my first yellow warning lights - ESC/ Hill Descent/Ascent unavailable - all eventually disappeared upon a restart.
The heater seems poor and was needed today but the aircon is good on cooling.
Front passenger door RHD vehicle dumps a vast amount of water onto someone opening the door. This is very poor, certainly not fit for purpose and of questionable quality. Ineos response is - your dealer will sort it. Of course the UK buyers don’t have a dealer to hold to account we have a direct relationship with Ineos Automotive. I’m not certain IA really appreciate what this means for them and their buyers. I would not have tolerated this on my Range Rover, the dealer would have been managing a rejection. I will give IA some slack because they are a new manufacturer.
We’ll see what their agent says - Bowker, who have been first class to date.

The damage was small, and he offered me the equivalent of 10 euro.
That's cheeky.

The bumper is damaged as well. This could easily be a four figures damage, if you insist.

I personally probably wouldn't. But being offered 10 Euros I'd perhaps escalate it.

Very nice jert.

I am thinking of some for the side windows as in Australia - I don't think it would be legal to cover the rear windows
Yeah it is, so long as you have side mirror.

I have been trying to order some, send an email query about postage, but have not had a reply yet.

I know they are going to be coming to Aus in the near future, so local cost will be better

random shop on the www
Would you be so kind to provide the link? I was thinking about covering them with shrink wrap but since I want to add the BS platform later, I didn't want to enhace the diameter of the tubes...

Maybe I can help with such a cooperative answer.

The handles are exactly 25.4 mm, i.e. one inch. So you can buy them buy more or less everywhere, or use just 25 mm instead. In the latter case some sticky tape might help to add to the diameter - if necessary at all.

I had a great day on Sunday exploring the area around Mount Werong, looking for axe grinding grooves made by the Wiradjuri people, and other points of interest for an upcoming trip with Simmo's Offroad Tours.

In a while when we have a reasonable contingent of Sydney based Grenadiers maybe Simmo’s tours would run a Grenadier only Sydney weekend trip for a group of us? Maybe see if Purnell or INEOS Australia would support and send someone technical along to do some talks on the vehicle etc.

Great idea, Andrew. I’ll talk to Alex about it. Last time I’m was talking to him he said he was planning to do some kind of owners catch-up in a month or so.

I’m sure Simmo would be interested. Apparently another Grenadier owner was booked in for a trip recently, but had to cancel due to illness.

I’m guessing Getabout Training Training Services are already on board with Ineos too, judging by the drive day at their property and their use of Grenadiers for demonstrations at the 4WD Show. I’ll be seeing them in a few weeks time when I do another training day with them.

Getabout are good too, did a day with them some time ago with my Discovery and was a great day.

Trying to figure out how to most effectively use the (airline-) rails for overlanding.

Indeed the bumper was slightly damaged, but compared to the guy who hit me, I am very rich.

Really, I don't mind, he looked nice and felt sorry.
