Hello, I very much enjoy the Wolfbox G900 I have, and your service is A++

I’d really like to see the connectors on the back near the top instead of on the top facing up as they do now. It would be a much nicer installation if the wires weren’t all sticking up above the mirror.

I too feel the Wolfbox 900 is one of the most important and useful upgrades for my truck. As someone who hauls an RV the option of adding a third camera input would be appreciated as would maintaining camera/cable compatibility with any newer model (to avoid snaking new cables). Lastly, given the Grenadier’s obtrusive behind the mirror “box” a way to “move” the forward facing camera closer to the windshield would be welcome.

Really one of the only things keeping me from buying one right now is the way it mounts. I know its convenient and easy but those loops hanging from around the mirror is just bad. I'd almost prefer a rubber sock that wraps around the old mirror like a gasket. I think someone said there is another option if you remove the factory mirror but not looking at doing that at this time.

You can get a really slick mount from 67 Designs. Remove straps and old mirror. You than mount directly to the mirror ball mount. It looks almost factory, just extra wires. I’ll get a pic for you when I get my truck back

I have the 850, and while I was skeptical at first, it’s been a nice addition to the truck both for the dash-cam option and the clear rear-view. The lag took some getting used to, but it’s a small price to pay for seeing beyond the spare tire!

I think it would be helpful to have an “Ineos Kit” and include the camera extension cable needed to get the whole way back to the rear of the vehicle and the power supply needed to do the "professional" install. (instead of the included cigarette lighter power) Make it simple, make it complete.

Wolfbox:

Agreed with most of what’s been said on this thread. I own (2) of your g900 pro’s and LOVE them! I am about to buy my 3rd one for another vehicle. I have said this before on other threads/posts and will say again directly to you, this is one of the best accessory you can add to any vehicle! I have one mounted with the 67D mount and one mounted with the straps on the mirror. Honestly I don’t know what all the fuss is over the straps, you can’t see them when your driving and unless your standing in front of the vehicle or to the side by the front doors and REALLY looking you don’t even notice IMO. I have very dark tinted windows too so with that it’s almost impossible to tell. Just my $0.02 thoughts on that. You can trim any excess rubber piece under the mirror so you don’t see it btw. You also have a bracket made to mount on the dashboard to mount the camera to and I’m considering installing that way on the 3rd one. Just kind of odd having a mirror shape object mounted in front of me on the dash, that would be one of my suggestions I will list below. Btw, I also have your tire inflator and jump starter (never had to use either so far and hope I don’t, but nice to know that they are in one of my rides—probably will use any gift coupon to get 2nds of those for my other Grenny). Anyway, after saying all the nice stuff, here are my thoughts/suggestions:

1-even more voice commands on the pro. I like you can say front or rear camera view, what about “split camera view” (I drive sometimes with that view), “playback video” options, and “adjust time to 7:30am CST” (or whatever your time zone is, the clock you usually have to play with to get the right time & would just be nice to say what it is and it automatically changes to that time).

2-don’t know if this is possible on the next couple things; could you have a way to touch the screen or voice activate saying dash cam off and the mirror would turn back to a regular mirror so I can see my pretty face if I need to? 🤷‍♂️😉

3-when set on parking mode, and you put the option for g force I think it is (when something hits/makes the vehicle move), anyway to send us/the owner a text via the app of the short video it takes so we can see if any action we need to do on our end (like go bust some heads of thieves 😎). If something is going on would like to know then. I know some would not want this so make it an Option to turn on/off to receive the text or notifications.

4–like stated in the beginning of my post, what about having a way to either put the front and rear camera views on an iPad or other device or make a smaller different shape object (other than a mirror) to have the live views on so you can mount to the dash mount kit (hope I am making sense).

Thanks again for your products and even better customer service. When I was setting up the first one, I would email or call with questions and every time (sorry was probably too many) your people were so nice and quick to respond with answers if emails. Can’t say enough good things about your customer service people and that’s VERY important to me on products I buy. 👍🙏

Hi wolfbox team,

Personally, I have not purchased one of your units yet. Reason being I am looking for more of an OEM integration. Your units have wires sticking out of the top and it looks like a universal fit. For a vehicle that cost this much, I would like it to look OEM or factory. I have been considering something along the lines of what brandmotion offers since there is has a cleaner installation. I would, however, like to purchase your unit since the technology is far superior. If you could come up with an OEM looking solution, you can have my money. Thanks for listening.

Mine is secured with the bands but still appears pretty subtle. That said, I would prefer something looking that little more OEM.

I am not an owner yet, although its on my list of upgrades. One feature that I would like to see is the ability to plumb in a front camera in the grill so I can see what
I m about to drive over if Im in particularily tricky terrain. Smilar to what my Jeep had.
