Not sure of the production date, but my Grenadier, as delivered in December 2023 in Los Angeles, also has the “additional cable keeper” shown in your second photo (unless it was added by the dealer during a subsequent service visit).So I did a thing today and put this bracket in. As noted by others it is easily accessible by most people under the passenger floorboard.
I say most people because if you are sporting a 52 inch chest or larger this might be a struggle for you but you've got this, it's not that far in to reach.
The retainer bolt is a T25 which means you're going to be using a quarter inch drive socket. If you're looking at this from near the edge of the vehicle you may not notice that there are 3 bolts as noted in some of the pictures, you're shooting for the center bolt.
To make it more easily accessible for me, I pulled one of the cables out of the original cable stay and put it aside which is easy to do,
Unlike most of the small torx head bolts on this truck,this bolt was not ridiculously tight. It came out and went in quite easily and I used a bit of blue locktight just to keep it in place.
The fun and funny part about this exercise today is thst it was unnecessary on my vehicle, a 2024 Trialmaster with a May '24 production date. Apparently Ineos has recognized this as a problem and installed an additional cable keeper made of plastic about 12" behind the original bracket.
I've just lit a cigar but if I feel up to it after I will grab a photo of the second cable stay.

100% While I appreciate the effort to fix this issue, plastic is plastic and with this added layer of security, I will never think about this again.
My 2Q2023 wagon VIN xxx1886 does not have the additional clamp to the body.Fascinating. I wonder how far back this problem went. I have no second thoughts on reinforcing the bracket but the only way this could be a situation is if the cables slipped out of the original bracket and the plastic bit failed, the photo I saw of this faulure was of the inboard cable rubbing the driveshaft which seems unlikely unless the plastic retainer came apart completely.

What you see is the OEM unit and the bracket from the Grenadier Works Store working together. It serves as a compliment to the OEM bracket.I’m probably really stupid but this bracket is significantly different to the one shown in the Grenadier Works store, am I missing something?
