Roughly 73 hours after the label was created UPS received the jacket. Revised delivery date is now end of day 28 March 2025.

Currently at Tamworth UK, not Tamworth in my home state.

The timeline in the post has him asking and them telling him he qualifies, prior to being told he did not. Assuming all pertinent details are included in the post, and he’s not being disingenuous, what’s the confusion?

The guy clearly says he knew that he technically did not qualify.

He didn’t explain what that technically was but apparently it was enough to disqualify him.

The time line has him finding that reason out after they told him yes. If they told him yes, it’s yes. It’s their promo, their criteria, so it’s their responsibility to get it right not his. I tell customers and clients something is going to happen, it happens. I don’t come back later and make excuses for something janky that according to their own shipping valuation is only worth 160 pounds. Bad business and him being miffed is fine.

I don’t really care since I'm not INEOS or the customer but IMHO, its like asking any business for something you might not qualify for, in hopes of some rep making a mistake and them saying “yes”. That ain’t right either.

In fact doing that knowingly is called fraud, and I'm sure INEOS has clauses that don’t compell them to provide a service under those circumstances.

Not sure what you do or company you own but I’d imagine you wouldn't want to be taken advantage of as a business in that way either.

Is anyone elses jacket weekending at Caatle Donington this week? Mine was initially scheduled to be delivered to California on Thursday but for the last four days UPS reports this evey day with no estimated delivery date...

Got my Fieldmaster jacket delivered to my home in NJ today, 15 months after I took delivery of my Gren. Size 50 fits me perfectly. It’s a tailored slim fit. I wear a 42 suit.

Received mine yesterday. I sized up based on what people were saying on size and fit, but wasn't necessary. Anyone know what the process is for exchanging for another size? There wasn't any documentation in the box.

Maybe I got too excited too quickly... tracking number was generated last week, when I track it UPS has yet to receive the package.

For what it's worth mine is also taking an extended holiday at a castle apparently near a UPS facility. It was supposed to arrive in California 3 days ago and now there is no anticipated delivery date, it just keeps going back-and-forth between the castle and wherever it's been.

I received my jacket yesterday and it is one of the finest articles of clothing I have ever owned. It fits like it is tailored, close with terrific arm mobility. I even drove around in it: it doesn't pull across the chest or behind the shoulders. I can see why it would be appealing to motorcyclists.

The only issues I have with the jacket are, well, my issues. What's up with this English sizing of 52, rather than chest size and American 42 inches. Is this a metric system thing? (Of course, ultimately I was able to translate.) Also, it is too dressy for loading 24 cubic feet of top soil (one of yesterday's events) but not enough for church, so I need to figure out what to do with it. Finally the zipper is on the wrong side, left rather than right. I assume that this is a primitive sobriety test. Again, my problem, not the jacket's.

Again, one of the finest garments I have ever owned. Thanks Ineos!
