I was told by Ineos today my contract should arrive in the next 1-4 weeks.

My agent coincidentally also called today to say 'this is the last day for any changes without massive disruption to your order'.

He called me while I was in the car with the wife and before he could say anything I said 'you are on loud speaker, under no circumstances mention any pricing' - still a bit frosty chez nous right now!

What is the earliest delivery date that has been posted so far?

That's next month Rovie!!!

Very exciting for you. I'm not sure how you are containing yourself or are you allowing the world cup to distract you?

Like all of us here in the forum, I have had my experience with appointment statements. Therefore, my euphoria is still limited. No, I don't watch football. I have enough other topics to distract me. And besides, I have you all here in the forum.

I vote a special bit of flair for the first Ineos Forum member who takes delivery and posts a pic -- 1 per country, call 'em the Pathfinder or something. I recognize this is a bit of a luck-of-the-draw thing but it still might be fun when we start seeing Pathfinders crop up from Zimbabwe, Croatia, etc.

I just want to see ones actually in people's hands- and I like the idea of by country because- more pics!- but also that they have all the logistics and legal in place.

I will breathe a big sigh of relief when I see truck loads leaving the plant and people actually taking posession.

ETA: Just saw this..

Argh, youtube... Looks like four IGs on a car carrier on the road in Germany....

I noticed in that video that some had white letters out and others did not. Think it’s just between the BFG and Bridgestones?

That's what it looks like. The BFG KO2s with the white lettering REALLY stand out.... Didn't like that. I actually opened up the configurator and the KO2s are White printed, but it is more muted. I think in the real world they would get pretty dull fairly fast.

Are the KO2s reversible? Is that what BSL/OWL means? If that is what the KO2s look like and are the only option in K02s, I think I'll go with a cheaper tire and get what I want. There have to be BSW KO2s....

I was told white lettering only out on the 17” and not the 18”. A bit strange as I have 18” BF Goodrich on my Defender with white lettering out.

Sounds like a cunning plan.

That is what i see on the confgurator. 18 alloys are all black, the steel 17s have white lettering - both with KO2s. Are you saying that the tires can be reversed - that the same tire can either be a Black wall or white text?

The lettering is white on one side and black on the other
you can put whichever side out that you want

Not sure why, but someone at INEOS decided to put the BFG white lettering facing outwards on the 17 inch wheels (both alloys and steelies), and facing inwards on the 18 inch wheels (both alloys and steelies).

They must think that people who spec 18s have better taste. 🤣

I'll have to pop down to my local tyre shop, because I’ve ordered 17 inch steelies and I want the lettering facing inwards. 🙂

White lettering on the inside for me if i get an option. had BFG’s on our old Toyota pick-up and had lettering on the inside as dont like the bling look.
