Just a thought.... it seems feasible the US spec vehicle systems may allow fault clearing due to provisions in their Federal "right to repair" legislation?.I have ordered on from the Oz dealer but since have heard that the US spec vehicles allow fault clearing but not the Oz spec , dont know if this is correct but I will post when I know
What a great bush fix. I’ll remember that one.rigged a field fix using a socket as a hose coupler
Don’t forget to zip tie the hose clamps together for extra security on the connection! What a great bush fix. I’ll remember that one.
Where do you plug this in within the car? What event are you doing?
Highly advise an OBD2 scanner for such an adventure. I used the OBDLink MX+ on my cross country drive. It was able to read and clear codes - including the fuel fill one.
At least you got to cross the finish line.Well heck, made the finish, parked the Grenny to have a couple of beers and now it starts and dies right away. Suspect fuel issue but who knows. Anyone experience this and have a solution?
Yep, no DNFAt least you got to cross the finish line.
Saw your video of the IG being towed.
Could this have been caused by the accident/incident you had?
Hope all goes well.
Also, is there an insurance for this type of event?
Insurance will cover the front end damage from the other car. Calling my insurance to see if tgey will cover any towing expenses , or at least someAt least you got to cross the finish line.

On the US spec LHD vehicles it is under the dash near the driver's left knee.Where do you plug this in within the car?
Congratulations on your Baja 1000 Race Finish. What an incredible adventure and all done in a stock Grenadier. Thanks for your detailed analysis of the Grenadier in it's element and what you did to get it race ready. It gives me confidence to just about take mine anywhere. Love the Shale Blue as that is what mine is too. Keep the Video's coming. DaBullThe off road driving video just went up on YouTube if you want to have a look-
