Issue: An issue has been identified on a small percentage of the affected vehicles where the Engine Management Light turns on after the vehicle has been re-fuelled.


Cause: The actual fuel level is not available within the specified time frame from DME for leakage detection.

Progress. Now if they will deliver on the damn over speed clicking and lane departure. In LA we all speed and don't use blinkers so the combination is really annoying.

Good to know. Mine was updated in Oct and it's been fine, but I got a fresh CEL last week on fill up. Same code. Guess I'll contact the dealer. (12/23 build date)

Very concerning when a TSB contains such words as un-plausibility (wrong spelling too).
That type of IT BS has no place in a vehicle workshop.

I have had my Grenny since Jan 13, 2025. I experienced my first check engine light after refueling at Costco. I just cleared it with my OBD. Will be taking to the dealer to update.

Happened for the first time for me yesterday. Does it stop happening after the software update? If it doesn't stop from the update being installed, I will just keep resetting it with my OBD.

Hi all- related issue im tagging here- the CEL came on after refueling. Happened to be on a road trip and noticed the cruise control was INOP with light on- related or coincidence?

It is related - clear the CEL (with OBD) and cruise will come back on.

Also note, this happens to me every other fill up, so purchased a OBD to clear each time. Was in to Elliot Bay (Seattle dealer) for new windshield, key spring broken warranty replacement, 12k service and door button warranty work this week and they would not update my software as the CEL was not on. So…if headed to EBA, stop by the gas station first to set off the CEL so you can get the update if you need it.

Learned a couple of things today. My ‘24 does not qualify for this TSB, but there may be another update to address this. No eta that I’ve been told

Second thing i learned is that IF the CEL is on AND the Refuel Soon warning is on- and you actually refuel - the CEL goes out. YMMV. But I’ll have to see if this is repeatable if it comes on again. That said, the cruise control is still inop with the CEL off
