I’d certainly be up for some bolt on steps for the rock sliders too. Keep me posted if anyone sees anyWould certainly save a few bob.

Hi Phud, Congrats on getting the Urban steps/sliders fitted. Can you measure the distance from the ground to the top of the step and also measure the ground clearance from the ground to the bottom of the support bracket to the steps/sliders. Thanks, DaBullI have the urban steps/sliders fitted
Hey @Tom109What does a set of Buzz sliders weigh?

My steps were delivered and fitted this weekend in Edinburgh, as well as my picnic table (work bench). I bought the tow bar better suited to UK towing to replace the wrong height Ineos supplied generic tow bar and that was fitted. My co-venturer is very happy with the steps and I am pleasantly surprised with the work bench fitted to the rear door - much better quality than I had expected. The software was uploaded and I am sure the engine and gearbox match feel better (??). Other issues will need to wait until dealer and Ineos Technician go through things, but the better news is there will be a service agent 40 miles away rather than a 240 mile round trip to take care of things once they have been trained.I have still heard nothing about side step delivery for my car which I picked up on the 18th May. My vin number is in the early 1030's. Has anyone with a later vin had their side steps delivered. Will call my agent today for an update but any info would be useful

Interesting that you mentioned the gearbox mapping. I thought mine had changed slightly too, but then I thought nah, its just me. Maybe they did tweak it?My steps were delivered and fitted this weekend in Edinburgh, as well as my picnic table (work bench). People wanted something tighter to frame and more ground clearance. This gives that look for steps.Seems there is a new side step option from Urban. Here is some info. The YouTube video about the side step begins at 4:24 into the video. Thoughts?

With a brand called urban you wouldn't imagine they are designed for more than gentle kerbing? Those urban steps are made of thin gauge exhaust tubing. First brush against a rock they will be pushed into your rocker panel, so they give no protection off road and thus negate the need for high ground clearance as i would not go off road with those on.
I like the guys who run Urban. They don’t pretend their designs are for practical purposes. With Urban, it is all about the “Look” and nothing more. They are comfortable with that and in business terms, are very successful with that being their ethos. With a brand called urban you wouldn't imagine they are designed for more than gentle kerbing?
It is a side step not a rock sliders. Its for those looking for an alternative these fir that purpose. Those urban steps are made of thin gauge exhaust tubing. First brush against a rock they will be pushed into your rocker panel, so they give no protection off road and thus negate the need for high ground clearance as i would not go off road with those on. Hence you might as well have them lower for ease of access in and out for on road only use cases. Another poor design choice by these guys.
Exactly so design it be a great side step. As it sits now it is to high to be a good side step and useless as off road protection so why did they make it this way? Looks? It is useless product in my eyes.It is a side step not a rock sliders. I for those l9oking for an alternative these fir that purpose.
