Sick of waiting

Am I the only one who is slowly but surly getting tired of waiting?
I have to admit that from time to time I think whether I should just quit my order.
Do I need a psychologist?
Had a number of conversations with the head of product and the outgoing head of VIP - even he & she doesn’t know what remedial production measures they need to do

Oh God! That is not good news!

So is everyone who is now getting a vehicle or at least VIN’s a November signing? Or have some of the January signings jumped ahead in the queue?
Contract signed on 7 November. In production (according to account) since January 9. Car is built and is in Hambach (according to Ineos employee). Since then nothing more heard. My car will not have side rails. There are supposed to have been quality problems. Who knows?

Both drivers and passenger door locks given up working (prob like the Hambach workers) so now having to enter the D4 via the boot. Not even the hidden old fashioned key works anymore.

Sick of waiting - more than ever!

Was not a pretty sight yesterday at the boozer.

That’s something I heard too. The quality of the bump strips was too low and all vehicles are currently being fitted with utility rails instead. You’ll be able to get free replacements when the parts become available at the dealer.

I didn’t order side rails but when it arrived at the dealer, it had them. Tbh, I’m quite pleased and they’re foc.

That's it, you whiney girls have convinced me I'm sick of waiting as well, so I'm going to buy two of these instead for the same price as one IG. What a bargain.

Said NO ONE EVER......

The Tank...............yeah nah
Great car! Obviously very capable on smooth surfaces! More than enough for most peoples off road needs here in Germany.
I knew right away when I saw the good road tyres that this will be the one I need. I just do not know when it comes to Europe. That’s the only reason why I will stick to the Grenadier a little longer.

I have vehicles that are in production without a VIN and some with. I'm merely guessing that it's at some point down the production line the VIN is issued to us as it must be attached internally before the vehicle goes down the line.
@Halliwell Jones Chester your "guess" is spot on. There is a "stage in production" that the VIN "appears". Just received the following response from IA Customer Service confirming same:

CASE REFERENCE: 89XXX

Hi Mark,

Thank you very much for your patience.

It appears your vehicle has not yet reached that stage in production, but will be making progress over the course of next few weeks.

I will keep an eye on your profile and will continuously check if the VIN will appear. Once I have this information on hand, I will contact you again to notify you of this.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.

Nice to see I've got something right then. :ROFLMAO:

I just asked via Live chat whether they have my vin. They will come back to me.

I made a very fast jump at my dealer again, yesterday, just before closing time, because it was on my road back from a "job".

When I arrived they were unloading 4 Grenadiers! I should (and could) have counted, but I think they have now more than 15 cars from which at least 12 for customers.

The guy in charge of the Grenadier wasn't present, but the second in rank (who is also member of this forum) was there, and apart from some commercial blabla ("soon", "yes, sur, we will solve that", "I don't know") I didn't get any wiser.

The only news I have:
  • the Ineos technician didn't show up yet at their place (I asked)
  • they don't have the last software patch yet (he told it)
  • my "non stopping" wipers is "probably" due to software and isn't solved yet (I asked)
  • I saw that my blinkers don't work either!
  • He didn't know if their technicians got trained yet for the maintenance of the car (I asked)
