Sick of waiting

If I didn’t know better I would say that’s technical speak for…they haven’t built it yet !!

Essentially apart from the few, we are all in pre-preduction. I might look stupid but I didn’t just fall out of the sky. I can smell BS from a 100 yards and can read people like a book. It’s my job !!

Like most things when people don’t want to tell you everything. A web of lies held together with a few truths. 😃
I thought that if you had a chassis number it was in production.

The old Software issue.... that's the No.1 reason companies say their deliveries are late "IT issue" "Server Down" "Glitch in the back end of the system". :devilish:

It’s pretty poor that IA are not grasping that Gren buyers are not typical bmw/Mercedes/Land Rover buyers. I believe we’re a pragmatic, practical bunch and with a reasonable mechanical understanding of both the car and how it’s made.
Perhaps IA fear coming clean of the issues they’re clearly having and how we’d react. I believe they’re better off being honest with us and getting our buy in and sympathy with the huge challenges that face a new start up.
Having worked for one of the largest manufacturers, they do go for “mushroom communication“ and fear adverse pr on product. Keeping us in the dark and or feeding us bs is not what Sir Jim set out, and I’d dare to say that most of us bought in to his vision and up to autumn last year, communications were pretty good. On the whole, it’s pretty average.
I agree with you summary here. Any news woukd better than no news.

But we need to remember that Ineos legal department will be involved and Goliath like them will have a cast of thousands. So getting approval to release info could be a nightmare.

The strange thing is that you would expect the media to pickup that after the Scottish harrah, Ineos has failed to deliver one vehicle to a client. I’d thought they would be on that like a dog on a three legged cat!!

Most of the journalists have moved on to the next free junket ~ this week's been all about 5* accommodation in the Alps and playing with the new Ferrari SUV or perhaps the Raptor in the UK or Ram in the US.

It was surprising that even in the specialist/industry motoring press I read, which usually let's me know when a junior member of Renault's Papua New Guinea management team has appointed a new secretary, there's been no mention of the numerous changes within Ineos Automotive.

And there is the issue- legal departments work to a different timetable and never have any sense of urgency.

Sorry if this has already been explained, but I couldn't find it in other posts. How did you get the VIN?

I was given it after I was told the vehicle was finished and I didn’t believe him so he gave me the chassis number.

I asked my agent. I think he made a phone call, but some have said it's available to them somewhere within their portal. @Halliwell Jones Chester might be able to confirm that?
It's not on the portal yet, but if you call your agent he/she will be able to tell you what the VIN is if it has one without having to call INEOS. @DCPU

Well I finally got some information out of customer services. The car has not been built. It was a ‘February’ build. So as suspected that they are definitely running behind schedule. This is on top of the publicised delay late 2022. What they couldn’t say was how far behind they are. Will it be built this month? April? May? I don’t know..

Not what I wanted to hear, but what I expected to be honest..
