Just received a call from IG (i.e. the guy I’ve originally discussed the final changes to my configuration with). My final contract will be send this or next friday according to him. Has anyone else had any info?
There's someone called Justin, on the Oz FB group who's also got a call. So, unless you are one and the same, then there's at least two of you!

More importantly, it may be the breaking of the logjam/hiatus...

Unfortunately I am not talking about the prototype tour MKII, I am talking about test drives after that when you as a potential customer can actually drive the vehicle.

Touted as being around mid November !

Maybe they're setting up the Ambassador sites first?

The stunning thing is that this guy was able to keep the thing on track with this lousy steering and chassis. (y)

But: he was actually only 85 Kmh fast (if those were not miles). So our grenadiers are still faster than him. But not faster than THIS tractor:

> I have imported so much stuff from China over the last 30 years so I know

You get what you pay for, even in china. There are some really good products.

Last week, I bought the second copy of the one below. It's a power meter. And it's really accurate and can even measure fractions of a Watt (not VA but really W). Besides this, it measures the power factor cos(φ) and takes it into account. Including a daily / monthly / yearly history, real time clock, several timers and a menu driven UI in a dozen langues. No faults yet (my first copy stiil working since some years). A fantastic chinese product for a really fair price (price for the EU around 54€):

Available on Amazon as well.

Plug an energy saving fluorescent light in if you have a portable lamp and have a look at the PF. Most cheap ones have a PF of 0.5 which is how they achieve a lot of the energy savings

For those who don't want to tell facebook what they watch on youtube, here's the direct link:

Part 2 of the video I noticed something on the back of the vehicles that look like vents. I don't recall seeing those before. Then I looked back over old pictures and sure enough they are in every one of them
If that is where the air gets out then where does it get in and why?

"we're gonna need some bigger vents....."

could just be cosmetic 'styling' but that is then somewhat form over function

It gets in via the front vents , and every time you draw more in - fan/aircon - it has to get out , otherwise the cabin pressure rises.
The door seals are THAT good!

One can be practically avoided, the other not, hardly an argument against the point made by Dave. I.e I can choose another vehicle manufacturer without too much impact on my life whereas you can’t in any practical way avoid CCP parts in a vehicle at this stage.

Virtue signalling is making socially safe statements like “black lives matter” or “slava ukraine!” But then doing jack shit to contribute anything to the cause. Quietly avoiding support of a regime that is adversarial to our values is not virtue signalling. And in todays world saying you’re avoiding CCP products gets you labelled as racist and bigoted by clueless people so it’s hardly virtue signalling.

I guess there is no reason for any doubt.
Or is there?

Has there been a projection on how many weeks it takes to build once they lay the keel? (first bolt)
