Sick of waiting

Holy hell fire!!

awesome news.

any further progress on a est dely date for you?
and does it need any software or dealer input which not factory fitted, e.g sliders etc?
Side Runners not sliders in my case, and they’re going to fit them in the next few days. It requires a software update and IA won’t authorise handover until that’s been done. At least it is at the dealer and not somewhere between “in production” and ”in transit”.. It’s physical in Northampton and we will commune with it tomorrow. Buttons will be pressed, engines will be revved, doors will be opened and shut and backsides will be heated…

I’ve changed my avatar to that of my actual vehicle already.. I’ll try to get some photos of stuff I’ve not seen already including the rear seating bolt holes as I plan to move the seats back to give more leg room.

A minor thing, but I’m keen to know if the headlights automatically turn off when you kill the ignition and open the driver door, or if there is just a bloody sound warning for you to turn them off.
I always drive with lights on so the later would drive me mad.
Thanks

Oh, and enjoy the visit tomorrow!!

I thought most modern cars the canbus kills them and enables "follow me home lights"

Wish I was still living in Stoke Goldington. I’d pop up and have
a look.

Mate, I am on the Gold Coast and got an email about the drive event in Perth and booked a flight
Yeah I saw that you had a couple of drives by the look of it.

The drive days here were oversubscribed. A mate over here who has an order nearly missed out on a drive.
Luckily for him I had to be in the Colorado that week and was able to transfer my drive spot to him.

Well, I’ve taken a ton of photos and hope they’ll be interesting. I’ll let the handbrake on the photos off this afternoon as I need to sift them. Good news on the rear seat mounting points and some other interesting stuff.
Can't wait - we NA types have to live vicariously through you all for at least a year.

Rear view camera in operation. Sorry it’s not a great shot but the car is still in “transport mode” so most electronic functions are disabled.
