I would be curious to see if those bars "move" around as the steering changes, or if its just straight lines.

I couldn’t see them move but it based on the bmw system and as the gren was in transportation mode, it may have been disabled.

a) are they actually disclosing what the software issue is, and
b) have they given any idea of timescale for this update
c) I'm presuming it is a download update and not some manual intervention that will be carried put

Rear view camera in operation. Sorry it’s not a great shot but the car is still in “transport mode” so most electronic functions are disabled.

It already has 33km on the odometer- some bastard has already taken it down to the shops to buy a pie for lunch!!!!

The dealer said that it may be mid March before they get it sorted and it’s something they can do locally. It’s can’t be super critical as the press cars were all updated for on road use. Fingers crossed that it’s not going to take another month.

There were a few other bits missing but they’ll be sent to the dealer for installation. The rear door table and the Union Jack flag badge for example.

One bonus was that it had the side utility rails fitted even though I’d not ordered them.
