Sick of waiting

I may have missed something, but I don't see any Ineos Grenadier related entry? And sorting seems not to be by name.

If the extension of .xlsx was allowed to be uploaded then I'd happily share. It's only a 1.41mb file.

I finally cancelled my Bronco because the soonest was going to be late spring 2023. That would be three years waiting on a truck. If I get my Ineos next spring or even summer 2023 it will be two years better than Ford.

That speaks volumes, and puts things into perspective.

Like you say IF we start getting deliveries in the next 8 - 10 weeks it will be ok,in the current global conditions, especially from a start up company. (With a very big sister company)

How many more Prime Ministers will we have in the UK before the first forum member takes delivery of their IG....?

Will Ineos deliver their 'in touch within two weeks' update prior to the next one being announced - close run thing.

Let alone Italy ... 🙃

I wonder whether they consider the "we have built the first grenadier" update as the promised update within two weeks - because 2 weeks are going to be over in about 40 minutes (in Germany).

It’s going to be a looong year waiting for US deliveries.
X2

Have any private customers received their car yet ? I read IA was building cars this past summer and in production last month but haven't seen anything about the first customer taking delivery.

Add all the existing orders and I could see USA deliveries easily being a year out.

Pricing would help, sooner rather than later.

We've seen one PTO3 (well various bits of it) in London. There must be more, and if there are they are being kept well hidden. Maybe press have already driven them and just sitting on their copy until any embargo has been lifted?

I think almost everyone of us knows several people with car delivery problems. A friend of mine wanted a VW Passat with manual transmission. He was not able to get one, now he is driving a VW Touran with automatic transmission. And there are so many other stories about cars they can´t be delivered - not only for one oder two months. I hear from six up to twelve months and longer. I hear about AUDI and other big players... INEOS is brandnew!
So I will be quiet - and hopeful!
Almost every day I take a look to ineosgrenadier.com, have a look to my new emails, get a look to theineosforum.com... "As times goes bye" - NO IT DOESN´T!
BUT
Next year at this time we will smile and think that it was a short waiting time, and what a pleasure it is to own and drive such a cool new Defender - ahm no, INEOS! :-)

I have a signed contract with delivery time until February 1st, 2023. My local dealer from Cologne just called me to wish me a Merry Christmas. According to his information, my vehicle will be built in January 2023 and it will then take another 6 weeks !!!! to deliver it to me. If that is actually the case, it will be mid-March 2023 before I can receive the vehicle. Almost 1 year later than originally planned and although I am only 230 km away from Hambach, there is currently no way to pick it up there myself and speed up delivery.

Can't be worse than this bizarre story:

"Some Stellantis new car buyers have been forced to pay three months’ worth of finance instalments, insurance and tax for new cars they haven’t even been able to collect."

That is insane! Our system is a bit different here but there's nothing I would put past a dealer.

Actually, I stand corrected, this is the third such fire Ive seen this week, I guess when you click on one link, the algorithm just keeps finding you more. 😬

Have you been to this dealer in the past? I don't have a good opinion of them. They are very arrogant and think they are better. From my point of view, the prices are clearly overpriced. Take a look at the used Landys. I never got an answer to my enquiry about the Grenadier. I wanted to return my Defender for the Grenadier.
Since the founder died in an accident, it's all about profit. With him it was passion. We met once at a meeting.
