Sick of waiting

I have heard nothing from IA since I paid my initial deposit in June last year and full deposit when asked. Dealer has been ok - but they have limited info it seems. Website still won't even let me look at my order details (it never has allowed this -- always says it is not available for download). No contract or build date as yet. Have sold my Defender now so am without a vehicle now for trips etc. I got a model of my IG for Christmas (Donny Grey 2 seater with lots of extras) so I am able to push it around the dining room table and dream of bigger things. :)

Seems like some folks are right on the cusp of vehicle handover. Amazing - really excited for those in the first batch.

I am expecting IA will still use HWH as a pre-launch marketing tool. And perhaps we haven’t seen it yet as they have been holding onto it until last minute QC to first batch was complete. I am expecting we will see the HWH media launch 1-3 days before the first customer deliveries. Feels like any day now.

…… to page 100!

Not like I'm stalking it or anything, but the only change to my Grenadier since last Tuesday is it is now the other side of the compound and tucked inbetween it's peers.

Now that is a bit strange that you have received absolutely nothing. I know they are on the slow side but... My full deposit was June last year and it is now showing as 'In production'.

The PDI includes a full road test that takes in, the local chip shop, a trip home over night to show the bosses Mrs and kids, a run down to the local suppliers to pick up exhaust pieces, and a trailer test to fetch a part exchange vehicle.

This is complimentary at all participating garages and included with all for IG’s for the first 3 months 😂

The week ahead

Possibly the first customer delivery
And the one hundred milestone passed
I have a sneaky feeling this week will be the one where we see the first Grenadier delivered to a customer.
Wednesday 5th has my bet.
I suspect it will be combined with a big PR output from IA.
Crossed fingers this will be the case as i have been looking at mine a few times at the dealer and have a trip booked at the end of the week. 🤞🤞

I’m sounding like a broken record but, as a UK company, I reckon Ineos are waiting on the new tax year which starts April 7th.
I’m hoping that given they have been indicating deliveries imminently for a while the tax year is not the key date.
They are hardly going to make a dent in the greater scheme of things and any losses are carried over in terms of accounting.
Either way lets hope this week is the week.

Is it not the case tha Ineos would be better to get as many as possible delivered in the UK at least in this financial year, as it will affect the number they can deliver in this next financial year.

As in it will effectively mean they can sell/deliver less vehicles

I wondered about that, I think quotas may be calendar year based, broken down to quarters.
