Rear lay flat seats for model year 25?

I was looking for the manual for my Grenadier, but I found the model year 25 online. When I was coming through it, I saw a new seat configuration that seems to have lay flat seats for the second row?

Would this be backwards compatible?

I have a 24 and mine do that, but they are not flat with the cargo deck

Crap, I think you’re right. For some reason, it looked different.

You need to remove the headrests to get it folded like that, but that is the current configuration.

Mine do too (May '24 build) and indeed the seats folded flat are 7.5" +/- higher than the rear cargo area. I understand there is a cargo storage bin in the '25 configurator that is an option for '25 that is intended to address this.

That was the seat configuration right from the start. I have a '23 and i can do that.

Yep it can do that already but there is a height difference. I have my rear seats out ATM doing mods and I am wondering do I just leave them out and get the commercial floor insert or some shelving/drawer in the rear so good to know 2025 model might provide a factory alternative

I guess the IG will never have fold flat seats since there is too much stuff under the seat…. I need storage in the back anyway, so I’ll get a platform to make it flat when the seats are folded.

I do wish that the rear seats had some adjustability in recline, and also a ski pass through or a 40/20/40 split.

Nope, battery locations are identical. The difference is in the seat base height.

Once you take the rear seats out the floor is completely level. All the same mounting points are there also to convert it to/from the 2 seater commercial variety. I just put my seat back in after fitting my accesories but I can see if I have a photo I can share

There is some adjustability as the seat top mounts can be moved to 2 different mounting (one more upright like the QM or more recline angle like the Trialmaster.Fieldmaster Wagon)
