Does that means it clicks?“Compatible with 2022-2024 Ineos Grenadier”
Will be a huge revenue generator!

Use DC LED light strings, they are readily available and usually require 5-30VDCGood morning. By chance has anyone attempted to decorate their Grenadier for Christmas? Wondering what the easiest setup would be to convert power and plug some lights in on top or maybe a wreath on the grill. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please post pictures of your Grenadier is sporting holiday cheer!
I have grandchildren, two teenage grandsons and a 3 year old grandaughter.I'm so sick of kristmass and it's not even thanksgiving yet.
You could get an inverter for the 12v in back - but why not just clip off the AC head and attach the Deutsch DTP plugs? It takes 2 minutes and is water tight. This is actually a really cool idea in my kids and all our friends will love it. What type of adapter is needed to plug into the roof auxiliary ports to convert them to just standard 110 LED plugs?
Well, @DaveB, if you’re not going to be cool and celebrate Baby Jesus’ birthday, you’ll probably just keep running into kangaroos. Maybe the universe is trying to tell you something. Like “piss off Baby Jesus, and you get the roo.” Important truths to contemplate. At Christmas mass, I’ll be sure to pray for Dave the Heathen Antipode, that he is preserved from the Lord’s avenging army of zombie kangaroos. I think it was one of the plagues in Egypt - after frogs but before burning hail? Can’t remember.I have grandchildren, two teenage grandsons and a 3 year old grandaughter.
We don't do religion, so for us it is just an excuse to have fun, eat too much food and take some time away from work.
Probably take two weeks vacation, at home, it will be hot & sunny and it is 50 metres to the water.
We don't have anything like thanksgiving, so not an issue here.

My friend I would be very happy if you wanted to pray for me during your Christmas Mass.Well, @DaveB, if you’re not going to be cool and celebrate Baby Jesus’ birthday, you’ll probably just keep running into kangaroos. “And for all Grenadier owners everywhere, that their drive shafts don’t blow out, that spare parts may be readily available, and that this year, a software update will come out that turns off the speed warning. Amen.”My friend I would be very happy if you wanted to pray for me during your Christmas Mass.
I believe in everyone's right to celebrate their beliefs in any format they want to.
After all "I may be wrong"
Ok - here’s a cool one. In the US (Massachusetts, which was a Puritan colony - read uptight PITA Calvinist), it was ILLEGAL to celebrate Christmas. None of that Catholic partying for them - just back to work.My friend I would be very happy if you wanted to pray for me during your Christmas Mass.

I believe the electricity from the roof auxiliary ports is 12v DC, so 110 AC lights wont work without a transformer. You want 12 V DC. Deutsch DTP adapters are what you need -- https://agileoffroad.com/product-ca...MIz5bO5fLriQMVt5fuAR2ziCn7EAAYASAAEgLGdfD_BwEThis is actually a really cool idea in my kids and all our friends will love it. I think all the LED outdoor lights now are 12v AC/DC - so it seems like it would be simple to just splice the Deutsche connector to the end of the line - maybe I’m missing somethingWest Marine used to sell 12v Christmas lights for those oh so jolly Christmas boat drink-fests… I mean parades.
Yeah, you might be right. Probably the same “marine grade” lights minus the 400% markup.I think all the LED outdoor lights now are 12v AC/DC - so it seems like it would be simple to just splice the Deutsche connector to the end of the line - maybe I’m missing something
I think you’re right - just grab a cheap string of outdoor lights and they’ll probably workYeah, you might be right. Probably the same “marine grade” lights minus the 400% markup.
Fingers crossed - I bet the 12v workSo failure #1 on Christmas lights for the roof. Purchased 120v LED Xmas lights and a deutche pigtail. Connected to the roof. The remote indicator lights up but the lights wont light. Gonna to purchase a 12v string and try again. View attachment 7879454View attachment 7879455
