My thought is that I don't care where the range is if it's accurate.............I went from 65miles to ZERO and just hoped ther guage was right (which it was thankfully, I was up in the Grampains and a good 20 miles from fuel!)Hi Steve, the photo is quite revealing: With a supposed 224 mile range remaining, (360km) either the fuel gauge reading or the remaining range are out of sync. The 3/4 full reading...I'm guessing, should actually be showing a bit less than half full.... or the remaining range ought be higher...
Thoughts?

FWIW.. It's a generic scanner, no real recommendation other than they got a response when it was connected. There is also a range of Bosch scanners at various price points which may be worth considering also, given the Bosch service centre tie-up with Ineosvery interesting that's the first recommended scanner I've heard off for the Gren.
wonder if it will sort my TPMS sensors out.......![]()
Thanks DenisM, I will keep my powder dry a little while longer.FWIW.. It's a generic scanner, no real recommendation other than they got a response when it was connected. I have a few different scanners, a relatively high end Foxwell one and a basic Bluetooth one with a phone app, I haven’t been brave enough to try plugging in yet, but might have a go and see what comes up.FWIW.. Given that you're only "reading" there should not be any concerns. What is of interest is whether all the niggling error messages are in a "humgous" log fileI have a few different scanners, a relatively high end Foxwell one and a basic Bluetooth one with a phone app, I haven’t been brave enough to try plugging in yet, but might have a go and see what comes up.
I just now did test my cheap Bluetooth OBDII tool with Torque light app.I have a few different scanners, a relatively high end Foxwell one and a basic Bluetooth one with a phone app, I haven’t been brave enough to try plugging in yet, but might have a go and see what comes up.
Hi Jon. That’s good to hear. Were you experiencing bongs and errors prior to the update? If so, what were the main ones? And can you let us know the software update reference please (1946 seems to be the one they’re installing)? Cheers.Software updated by Bowker in Lancashire. All seems ok, no warning lights or bongs in 20 miles. Bowker again first class. Ineos have got a top quality partner in Bowker.
Who is your dealer/agent? Have the problems been solved? Do you have your vehicle back?It seems to me that not every vehicle is build with the same components and/or there may be also a difference between LHD and RHD? Mine is already a week at the dealer. After killing it with the first software update they replaced the head unit but are still not be able to perform the update. As I have been told the update is a 3 parts procedure. On mine after the upload of the first part lots of errors appeared and a new upload didn't help. They don't know what is going on and, so far, it's happening on mine only.
Does anyone know what the 3 parts are for? Part one is for the head unit I suppose, and the others?
