We also have another recent appointment ~ Paul Maddison as Chief Financial Officer.

Let's hope he doesn't find a version of this in his desk drawer:

🤔 I am sure there is no relation to any quality problem at Ineos, or is it?
No worries... all good I'd say! :)(y)

He's a development specialist .... his role in bringing the Grenadier to fruition is now complete given that the Grenadier has moved to production phase. He says he's moving to a senior role in a company which specialises in automotive development with their HQ in Graz... where a lot of the inital IG development was done. I would think his recent experience at IA stood him in good stead. ... and he may not need to personally relocate!

FWIW. There's a huge "war for talent" (unfortunate turn of phrase) globally... I have friends in their 70s, deeply experienced in their specialist field being offered substantial financial inducements by their respective employers to not retire.. or at least work 2-3 days a week so that their "corporate memory" is not lost....

I spotted the word "Racing" in that man's briefs.
The plot thickens!

From what I've gleaned, the company AVL List is involved in all manner of automotive development issues. They've announced big investment in hydrogen tech. Mr Bruhnke's appointment may well be of strategic benefit to his employer and IA should they undertake collaborative development in the "hydrogen space"....

But there is more to develop...you do not always change your job when one project is finished. And there where more personnel changes within Ineos Automotive, known ones and unknown ones...

However, AVL is a very big player. He will join a very professional company which is/was responsible for a lot of developments, like a lot of Diesel engines incl. the Td5 of Land Rover. They are also heavily involved in racing.

Isn't the AVL List HQ in Graz... where the original prototype Grenadiers were built?
Yes.

When I was in Graz at Magna, guests and employees of AVL and Magna filled the hotel where I was and you saw a lot of AVL and Magna guys in the evening for lunch there....

Cheers

So Tennant going is official, at least by Companies House:

In his previous role he was on the boards of various Ineos -owned entities. Change of role means that the next person takes on those responsibilities. He could still be employed by Ineos in a role which does not require him to have director's responsibilities... or he might be retiring!

And just when the bloke's job is about to start...Malcolm Fryer, Used Vehicle Programme Manager gone.
