Love the idea of the Pakmule - totally new to me. It looks like it but thought I would check with those more knowledgeable than me - will the Pakmule install easily into the 50MM TOWBALL & JAW AND ELECTRICS option?

I did not know Packmule in special but other similar cargo carriers. First question to me is wheter there is enough space to open the back doors of the IG. It might work while the carrieris nearly empty as the trailer coupling is a bit below the lower end of the doors. But if the carrier is used and fully packed it might get in the doors way.

It works suprisingly well with the bike carrier we use. Its rated for 50 kg only buth the System is the same. The only connection is the hitch ball.

Fuel available at well 33.
Brown Davis or Long Ranger will soon come up with an appropriate tank.

My solution to the small fuel tank is roof mounted tank. These poly tanks are long and low and narrow, hold 27 litres so two of them gives you 54 extra litres. This increases the range significantly. Weight is a consideration but 65 kg of fuel and pods plus roof rack at 40kg and some light recovery gear say 10kg plus the Oz tent at 35kg gives you 150kg. remembering that by the time your leave the black top you will be 20kg lighter from the fuel used.

Top Cat here. I regularly travel in the Australian bush in my D2 and D4 and both carry a 110litre and the standard disco fuel tanks. The fuel loading is the main concern I have for my ordered Grenadier.
I will be keen to see under the vehicle to see if a spot has been left for a second tank. Carrying fuel on the rear of the vehicle is not a good idea here and only properly mounted metal cans are used.

The concern is that there may be no room in the diesel version.
The petrol - remove the rear muffler and there would seem to be space.

I crawled under the B2 diesel prototype and could not see any of room for a second tank of any size or room to increase the original tank by want margin. Hopefully this will change with production version. Moving exhaust is not a good option due to warranty issues be and cost vs benifits.

Fuel Tank Stainless Steel

There could be one that fits in all this lot. However we need photos of the underside from a hoist to get an idea of whats possible. An ARB or Brown Davis fuel tank is really the answer.

Failing that the dual cab version have more space under it or in the tray eh?

Well I found some photo's. Looks as though after moving a few bits you might get an additional tank between the prop shaft and the chassis rail.
Any other ideas?
