Don't know if this has been discussed yet! How is the emergency drive system structured?
How does the engine react when essential control elements such as the exhaust gas cleaning system fail? Can the car continue to run (as long as there is oil and water) if the electrical system has failed or there is no more AdBlue in the tank?

I came across the following video last night. Watch from 5.40. Basically says there is a warning alarm for AdBlue with 3000km left. If empty the engine will keep running but if stopped won’t restart

At least in Europe that is required by law. Technically it is not required. The first time that engines are stopped by paper.
