Apologies if this has been covered before, but now that I have my VIN, is there someone out there with the necessary smarts / software / subscription / hacking skills to determine whether my car is currently aboard the Don Carlos on its way to Australia?

Go the Don! 8 more days!

Has anyone at all actually been told their Grenadier is on the water? We hear there are up to 90 somewhere out there. We know (I think) at least some are company fleet and demos. So has anyone in Australia been told their vehicle has cleared the batch and hold and is on the way? Is there some chance that mine is on it even though in theory it is still in the “hold” phase. Would be nice if it was in the hold of this ship. 😀

That's exactly what I’m wondering. Looks like some of us are in for a pleasant surprise.

Not sure of that, but I'm sure somebody will be able to piece the puzzle together pretty soon.

The big question on everyone's lips, well mine at least is, if your car is on that ship, will you call your Grenadier 'Don Carlos"
Mine will be the Donny (Grey) Carlos.

I don't think so - unless your agent has access to that info and is permitted to release it.

Anyway - the Don Carlos left Zeebrugge 5 weeks ago & IA said there would be a departure to Australia every 2/3 weeks - so maybe there are 2 other vessels on route to Australia with Grenadiers !!

My understanding is that some clever people are able to track vehicles in transport using the VIN (which I have for my Grenadier).

I wouldn't begin to assume you'd receive it even if it did arrive on the next ship.
Wouldn't they just put them on whatever freight was allocated to not lose the slot and then hold them at this end for the update/part/miracle
