As my IG order seems to be lost with no updates, (dealer says its on its way, Customer service says not built) I am trying to find a similar build on a lot. No offense but many of these dealerships are clueless as to how to sell online. As they list dumb stuff like carplay and backup camera, could they please post what most of us need to know, tow hitch, high load auxiliary switch, safari windows. Then to make it worse they post stock photos showing no tow hitch when the build sheet says tow hitch or a cloth seat photo when the description says leather, looking at you Curry. Even the exterior color is wrong. Are these dealers that busy that they cant fix the websites.
Post rant ask... is there any third party website that is actually useful or do I need to keep going dealer by dealer and sleuthing builds? I just want to buy a vehicle from them.

Nothing universal exists for the US at the moment, Ineos just implemented a countrywide search tool for the UK, and is apparently working on one for the US.

Best way is to draft a blanket email with exactly what you want and send it to all the dealers. This is how I've found my last few vehicles, and I make a burner Gmail account specifically for that purpose as to not get spammed with their automated marketing emails

The above link is to a search of new inventory on Autotrader... shows 632 units nationwide. There is some filtering, but I tend to go by price and then a scan of photos (i.e. does it show a receiver hitch?).

This is how I found mine.

She came tonight, two days early. Shipped from regal in Atlanta up to Boston. I think I’m in love. Can’t wait to see her in the daylight.

My build experience went exactly this way. I configured my build in September of '23 with an estimated production date of March of '24 with a delivery date of late '24.

March came and went as did May and June. I was not in a hurry but I needed to plan my pretired life and called Ineos to inquire about my dealer not coming online in Northern California. I opted for the dealer in Oregon, because Oregon and while on the phone inquired about my build.

The Ineos rep had no update on my build. I shared my build story on Reddit, asking others about their experience. A fellow on the Grenadier sub who worked at Ineos who had access reached out and offered to look at my order.

Initally I declined but after a couple of weeks I relented. it was late June at this point. The Ineos rep let me know my Trailmaster was on a boat headed to the Port of Tacoma enroute to the dealer in Portland. He did not have access to my VIN but gave me enough information to get it from Ineos.

I called Ineos the next day and was able to get a VIN for the vehicle they sent me. I connected the dots with my dealer in Portland and they told me the vehicle with my name on it was due in "mid to late July" less than a month away. 6 months early.

Looking into my build, it was slightly different than the Trialmaster I specified in a good way.
